I don't see a kiosk in the main square place and there doesn't seem to be an area on my list called the Central Plaza.
I tried that a few times, also opened up the internet browser and it seems to pump life into it.Outtrigger888 said:My downloads were going slow, for some reason if I pause and unpause them it speeds up. My Rachet download was taking forever then I paused/unpaused and its almost done

McNum said:There's a button labeled Lock On, yet it only works on downed people? Is that right? I can't lock onto an enemy in this game?
spindashing said:OP needs to be updated with filesizes. How big is Dead Nation? Download isn't too slow.
Ah, okay. I'm using the lock on a lot, though. Do stunned foes get up or is there no practical reason to electrocuff them? I hope I get a superjump at some point, but I'm not holding my breath on that. Would be awesome, though. I wanted the lock-on more for camera reasons, though. Or at least the ability to hit triangle to look at a foe like a Point of Interest. Because some freak charging at me with his hands on fire should qualify as "interesting".TheSeks said:You don't need to lock onto an enemy. EVER. AT ALL. It's basically a third person shooter masked as a sandbox.
Lock-on is for ground people, yes. But it gets you karma (restrain enemies/reapers gain karma, heal downed civilians gain karma, soul/life-suck people for health for evil karma) quickly if you need the maxed karma achievements.

That's exactly what I did.
It's like pressing the call button on the elevator over and over to let it know that you're still waiting.DeathNote said:scratch that. pausing does nothing for me.
only opening the web browser every few minutes...
and if I don't it'll sit there endlessly.
McNum said:Also weren't the Gigawatt Blades a pre-order exclusive somewhere? Because the freebie inFamous has them.

I mean, it let me download the PSPGo theme (which I should see if it'll let me use on my PSP-1000 and get 10 free games. BWHAHAHAHAHA~) and own it just fine. So I don't think the store is busted. It just isn't showing the content for me. WTF. :/
Mmm, no, the elevator is programmed to come with one button press. The download is timing out and things can be done to jump start it.ReBurn said:It's like pressing the call button on the elevator over and over to let it know that you're still waiting.
Oh. I totally didn't see anything like that. Maybe it didn't load in?TheSeks said:Er-If you're in a park with a fountain and a bowling alley, theater, mall hub, you're in the central plaza. From where you're standing (probably outside your "apartment" link), it's straight in front of you. See that PSN Store bag logo? That's the kiosk.
You need to redeem by July 3rd.Magnus said:I apologize if this has been answered already:
I understand that Plus (Free for a Month) is available for 30 Days after you download/activate it. Is there an expiry date on when you can begin that month?

A long ass time.

Ah found it. In the UK (EU?) Home it's in the PSN sphere thing.TheSeks said:No, it's there. It's been there a good year. You just aren't looking hard enough. It's easy to find. Go around the Central Plaza and look. That is, if you're in the US. Each regions CP is different and I dunno what the other regions are doing for their welcome back.
TheSeks said:1-2 gigs, IIRC. It's a PSN title so it isn't too huge.
Chamber said:Dead Nation is 1547 MB.
Super Stardust is 277 MB.
Wipeout HD/Fury is 1881 MB.
inFamous is 7056 MB.
Don't know about LBP. That's the only one I don't have.
Also, 37% on inFamous. WE ROLLIN NOW!

Can I download the free games now but activate the PS+ at a later date (like on July 3rd)? Or the PS+ gets activated as soon as I download the free game? I will be out travelling so want get the maximum time for PS+.
It is an extra download. So you can get the games now and redeem your PS+ whenever you feel like (but before July 3rd).TrojanBlade said:can someone please let me know this:
