After reading all the trouble with the PSP's D-pad and fighters in general, I searched for mods or replacement D-pads (much like Capcom's adhesive D-pad cover). I came across this one eBay auction for a D-pad mod. Aparently it's just a little piece of plastic that raises the pad slightly higher. I figured I could make one myself. I did a little more reasearch into modding the PSP's D-pad and came across this . Basically, using an old NES cart cover, a cross shaped piece is cut and placed under the pad itself.

Edit: Seems like this has been mentioned before. Thought it might be interesting, though.
