Okay, I fucking want this. The shitty part is, that its only for limited release with SFA3 Upper/Max n Japan ;( !!

That's pretty funky acttually. Wish it was more like the Saturn's dpad but a cool idea. Hope they'll sell it seperately too.

I also love how you can totally tell that a thread was posted by you by only looking at the title. :lol

Hopefully Capcom will decide to release it as a seperate accessory in Japan and the US. I think this d-pad is something that would sell well since not many people like the PSP's default d-pad for fighting games.

Yea, this should be automatically Rewarded/Donated to all the suckers who had to deal with DarkStalkers horrible controls.

The PSP's awful D-Pad is why I had to toss Darkstalkers and can't smoothly switch magic in Untold Legends...I was wondering when someone would come up with a proper solution that didn't require dismantling the system

Hopefully Capcom will release that joypad attachment in the US, perhaps even bundling it with the game or offering it as a preorder bonus.

FWIW, I don't have many problems doing circular motions in Darkstalkers Chronicle, perhaps because I'm accustomed to playing with PS1/PS2 joypads. For some reason, though, I have a bit of difficulty doing moves that require two buttons to be pressed simultaneously.

Still, I would like to try that joypad attachment. Anything that facilitates control for fighting games is a good thing. :)

Will they also release an attachment that makes the PSP have a 3x3 6-button layout? If not then still no purchase.

I've been playing SF with six-button pads since the beginning. Saturn/DC/PS2/Xbox/PC all either have native 6-button pads or adapters that I've purchased over the years. I hate having to use the shoulders for anything like that.

You can always get a psp2tv unit (www.teamxtender.com) and hook up one of your 6 button adapters / controllers to it. Will cost you about $100 and take some work, but it's worth it... right?

Would anyone be kind enough to confirm if any of the online importers with pack-in the D-Pad with the SFZ3^^ pre-orders?

any info and confirmations would be apreciated
