Oh, no. I hate Moon Patrol, but I liked Gripshift.

The comparisons people more often make to Monkey Ball don't really seem anymore apt. It's vehicular action with moon physics. Okay, very exagerated moon physics. And no shooting.

Might as well say it again-- if this had Mario (or any popular mascot) in it, it would have scored high 8's. It's a very solid title with great gameplay and a lot of variety. But no mascot.

Definitely deserved high 8's, perhaps if Sidhe had been able to infuse their characters with more personality like SSX, that might have helped too.

I am still a little pissed we have heard NOTHING about GT mobile. Sure there are a TON of racing games already... but none of them are GT mobile.

Well, I appreciate the time and effort put into making this thread...but it comes off as a bit insecure to create these kind of threads IMO...especially since we already had one recently. It's like "hey look, there ARE good games coming for PSP..really...see...see this list! I promise, things will get better!!! please look!!!!"

The thread started with: *PSP: THE LIST (Past, Present, & Future Quality PSP Titles)*

So that's what I expected from the list. At first I was pretty pleased and while I wouldn't agree with every game on the first post it was largely consistent. By the 2nd and 3rd post though, this list completely lost all credibility and became a "let's list ALL PSP games!!!!" thread.

Sigh.

You should expect this from Matix. He had GITS on the list until recently, and he posts the list on GFAQs more often with his very small DS list.

Nice to know that a generally positive thread about anyting will still draw the hate.

The first three didn't, but when "the list" starts appearing biweekly then people will obviously start to hate. I'm sorry, maybe I'm being more sensitive about it because I dislike Matix's list, it usually extends the definition of quality and rumors to fit as many PSP games on there as possible. See, we are both from GFAQs and I guess I've seen his lists a few times too many already.

How does this come off as "insecure"? Matix did a nice job of compiling a nice list of game for the PSP, along with screens and links to video clips.

It is a positive thread, but that's the point. It's nice to have a thread that attempts to focus purely on the positive aspects of a particular system's game library without any backhanded attacks at other systems.
