This looks better than a big percentage of PS2 games, I really hope the gameplay will be good as well. :)

Impressive indeed, I wonder what the PSP will eventually be capable of.

Yep, because we all know graphics mean everything.

it means more than you give it credit for.

Nice images. I've not clicked on this thread for some reason. game looks really nice. But ultimately, if they can amalgamate the gameplay w the visuals. We'll have a winner.

Who else would kill for BURNOUT compilation or 3 on PSP. :raises hand

I love Burnout, but after three games I think is a bit... burned out :).
I'm much more interested in this one, the gameplay sounds interesting. Besides, I can play Burnout on PS2, I'd rather have exclusive titles on PSP.

I never played the first two, so I'm far from burned out :P

Burnout 3 is so awesome that I would kill for a online PSP version of the title.

by the way: This is NOT a racing-game ;-)

Beginning to become apparent from the latest screens -- some kind of action game, but set on the road. Odd for a team that knows driving games to not focus on driving.

Now THESE ARE PS2-graphics!
Well, yeah, it's certainly like some PS2 graphics though its not exactly top tier and it doesn't look quite as refined as some of the other PSP games coming along.

Didn't see any description in the thread yet, so for those interested, this game, as far as I've heard, is basically GTA's Vigilante missions taken to the next level but on a handheld, and you're actually the cops.

so 'awesome-looking' PSP games just look like $14 bargan-bin PS2 titles?

At least with the GBA it was the only way to get my 2d kick...

Oh well, sony still has my $250 come next month ... fuck me for liking handhelds...

When I look at those screen shots and I look at my DS, I can't help but feel ripped off. But then, I look at the PSP and I looked at the Sony Duo Pro memory stick garbage and I feel ok (I have a strong vendetta against Sony proprietory formats, especial the duo/pro)

No, it looks quite comparable to any free-roaming PS2 title - that is IF this game is indeed free roaming, like suggested by someone in earlier thread.

Yeah, but it could be like NFSU2 where you go around the city until the mission starts, and then your car chanse gets confined to a preset path.

Just saying, I honestly have no clue how legit that report about this being free roaming really is.

Maybe its like that old amiga game where you drove a car down a road and stopped at a tavern to beat people up.

Or, better yet, maybe it's like Lucky and wild that awesome shooting and driving game in the arcade.

Remember PORSCHE CHALLENGE (SCEE)? MIx it with GTA and a lot of new ideas and fun = Persuit Force :D
