It's more tedious than bad. You can get carried through Machine Athena and with Follow Up Attack Ninegaruda and star justice are much less scary. Everything else is just tedium. Work on it slowly over time like we did for Myr and it'll be fine. It's a great boost in RCV and it makes a hell of a lead if you can field the team.

So they announced the Bootcamp event 2 and it's +15 again and not +30

I'm not pissed, but I'm not exactly happy. We're getting 10 +297's this month via the time attack, 2 more from the monthly challenge set, and +15 is better than nothing, It's more stam efficient than STTD which is enough for me. But +30 I would have burned a few stones a day on +'s +15 means 1 at monst if it's a time efficient buttonable one.

Decided to try something a bit different with an Ilm team for C9--managed to beat it barely. Now I have to figure out whether or not C10 is worth the trouble and do I have a team that can manage it. It just seems really shitty all the way around.

Another three rolls day 1 (previous liu bei and markab)
3. Gremory (dupe, kinda neat, I guess--not sure what to do with it, but now I don't have to choose between evos)
4. Lu bu (dupe, pretty sad)
5. LU BU (??!??!?)

Today
1. Nohime (pretty nice)
2. Fujin (fourth copy--god help me, what do you do with them)
3. MeiMei (didn't have one, pretty nice)

So, overall, not too bad. 6* dupes are starting to become a problem. I have now rolled 4 of two different 6* (fujin and green sonia), which I feel is kinda lame.

Solid rolls, ignoring Lu Bu. If you haven't already I'd burn through Zeus Dios to get the Dios army up. It'll come in handy for the +15 descends. The best thing about 4 fujins is not having to reinherit constantly I guess?

C10 is doable, The no Dupes thing puts a damper on the double Diao Chan setup for Anubis but if you have Mito and a follow up attack card I think it's manageable. Mantastic has his clear up for reference

Anubis, Gunma, Mito, Skuld, Aten, Diablos

Fl1, touch the bird and combo out kills unless it's the red keeper, then you need to do it twice
Fl2, touch the bird and combo out, Aten puts in work here.
Fl3, touch the bird and 8c (notice a pattern?) Mito kills on her own
Fl4, touch the bird, Skuld, combo out with FUA. Mito drops him to 1 on her own and skuld taps for the kill.

The team is intended to for verche to try and bind Anubis and Diablos instead of delay skills, Aten is there because you do not taunt happy fun ball, Mito and Skuld are pretty self explanatory.
I used the +2sec badge so I had 8 seconds to work with. Not ideal but enough to get the job done. You only need one good run for the clear so I was ok with RNG on boards.

any bicolor board pairings could work too like Ilm/ilmina with a leilan sub with Mito and Aten with an unbindable dark sub to bait verche. maybe Ilm/diablos too since diablos doesn't care about color matching.

I suppose I can try it; with such a short stage, double diochan likely isn't necessary. I could go Anubis/Mito/Aten/Momiji/Avalon Drake/Diabolos and just plan for an active every turn. Do I need a damage spike for the last floor or will I probably get there just on combos?

Edit: thinking about it more, it could be something like Anubis (mel)/Mito (Momiji)/Momiji/Avalon Drake/Aten (Momiji)/Diabolos; 9 skill boost

Floor 1: stall three turns, then use momiji and kill (skill count 12)
Floor 2: Verche tries to bind leads, doesn't work; use Mito (Momiji up on count 13) and kill (skill count 14)
Floor 3: Now I have to deal with crappy moving orbs, but Aten (Momiji) and kill
Floor 4: Avalon drake and mel, hope it works out?

Word on Reddit is that this is a no-silver fest. The would explain why I haven't rolled any silvers on either of my accounts.

As such, I decided to roll the stones I'd been reserving, and got Artemis #1 on my main and Saria #2 on my alt. Then I bought the one-time bargain set on my main (thank you, Google Play Rewards) and rolled Caladbolg and Oichi with stones and Sanada Yukimura with the special roll. I'd say that went well.

Caladbolg looks neat. And his skill-up dungeon is here! He looks like an HP-focused wood/light Aizen with lower base damage. Is that right? Is there anyone he pairs well with to get a recovery boost? My L/G box is pretty dire (basically just Momiji as far as viable subs go), but I've got Avalon Drake and Sylvie. Seems like it should be possible to row or TPA with green while making a single light cross, at least.

EDIT: Oh, I could make A. Sun Wukong to round out the team!

All together not too bad. I now have the full samurai 2 pantheon and Chinese Celestial pantheon, so that is pretty cool. Don't know what to do with most of them, but I know they don't suck.

After multiple tries, I finally beat C10. Ended up going with Anubis (A. Izanagi)/Avalon Drake/Mito (R. Leilan)/Momiji/Aten (Momiji)/Diablos (friend). First time I got to the boss floor with my earlier build, I didn't even hit quite half his HP on 10c. So, I decided I wanted a spike. Second time making it that far, with the spike (Izanagi was the only one that would be up in time), he still had a bunch of hp left, but I probably only hit 8c. So, I fully devil killer'd up Mito with two latents, killed it on 10c, spike, heart column. Probably took a dozen tries overall.

I really feel like I suck at this game sometimes.

Yeah, the stones and stuff were cool, but it seems pretty atypical for them to give more than one free stone a day at any rate.

As for the month dungeon, I'm not sure how I feel about them yet. C10 looks kinda crappy, but it typically is anyway. I really dislike how HPx10 is now becoming the norm for this game.

I'm actually feeling a bit of emotional overwhelm. I really am a fan of one super hard dungeon to focus my thoughts on. Three at once sucks. I can't really prioritize AND since each of them takes 100 stamina, you don't have too many tries each day.

Well, that is one way to make farmables relevant I suppose. Ironically, you are probably better off trying to find subs with loooong skills, so that their crappy ones don't override the good stuff.

I don't know, anything to make 5* GFE and non-pantheon crap more usable, especially in dupes.

Sure, the new saria evos have some use, but, of the six I have, at least three are always going to be inherits, so any bonus from that will be nice.

Do we know if the carrying monster has to be the same color of the assisting monster to get the benefit? Could make a difference. In particular, being able to assist additional red resist awakenings could make cheese teams more viable by hypothetically freeing up a slot.

Let's be honest have you ever used any of the weapon 1 cards on any team in the past year

Reincarnations are already irreversible, the reason why we're okay with it is because the cards are in most cases strict upgrades over anything that came before.

been logging in pad / reading the board once and awhile, bummed I didn't know about the guaranteed badpy drops yesterday but then again I'm not following the game actively anymore.

I do have 3 accounts I log in daily for free shit, but zero motivation to spend anything in the game or to keep up with the meta.

I thought I cleared out most of my pending mail for the next couple months but apparently I forgot to do it on my secondary account so I have about 25 e-mails that just say expired -

this kinda irks me - if it was just for space reasons - shouldn't the e-mail just disappear?

I have zero interest in the monthly challenge - one of the first thing that made me loose interest in the game was the additional of the c9/c10 floors that preyed on RNG and crappy gimmicks - I guess the game is too far up its own ruleset to add more content that is just fun / challenging without garbage mechanics.

(I still hold to my original seed/rng belief as my alt account has pulled its 4th fujin while my main still hasn't pulled one, and each (respectively) keep pulling the same dupes)

Gives people who miss limited time events the opportunity to get necessary mats (Mizu Purplefur for example)
Gives players a way to balance out the RNG in dungeons like Trifruits

I hear you, the only things I would have wanted out of the fire REM was Dantalion and the red wisedragon.

If your urge to roll is down at least you'll be able to hoard stones for a favored collab or, box space, or stam refreshes during this madness.

RNG balance seems like the best legit use case for the long term as I'm constantly sitting on surplus of some material while trying desperately to farm another color of it. I guess I'll experiment and see if it's worth the trouble to try and get some of this stuff via trading. I'm skeptical.

You can just have Myr, she's literally a byproduct of shynpy farming and I don't need another. I might make one more for my wife but she's not into the heart cross life (she plays Yuna x Diablos). I think she's 6* so put up whatever. I'm always needing orph parts, snow globes, and pys (any color) but they aren't the right rarity I think.

so Ancient Dragon Knight Zeal or Burning Phoenix Knight Homura is probably fine. It makes evo'ing MGoemon and MAthena a bit easier. Super Gunma would probably be the best thing I could ask for just cause I don't want to farm it for my alt's Anubis team.
