Quantum Break final cover revealed by Amazon Germany?

What I want to know about the game is what happened to this?

Could be that because these people were unknowns, but somehow faces striked me being a bit higher quality here.

I suppose so. The faces in Gamescom 2015 look just as good to me. Still the gif you posted is from early development footage(I think), so can't say anything for sure.

And wait, did they really change Jack Joyce into Iceman? I thought he was going to be another playable character.

new one looks like one of those twin brothers that play Jimmy Olsen from Smallville/Iceman from the X-men films.

This just in Shawn Ashmore looks like.......Shawn Ashmore

So is this a new character or did they change what the lead looked like? Really weird when devs do that.

Tey replaced the genric character with Shawn Ashmore, makes sense when the live action parts come into play i guess, would be werid to have one face for gameplay and another face for live action.

On Topic
Fucking garbage cover, the old one was better should just tweaked the old one with the shattered glass motif and Shawn Ashmores face.
But it doesnt really matter, its not like i stare at my game covers much anyway.
Just hope the tile on the Dashboard looks alright, im strangely pedantic about the tiles looking good, if a game has a shitty tile i usually just unpin it.

It wasn't a generic character, it was another actor named Sean Durrie. He's still in the game, playing another character, but he either was Jack Joyce from the start (both in-game and live-action) and they recast the character with Shawn Ashmore, or he was just a placeholder the whole time (which doesn't really seem likely).

Remedy and Microsoft have been really tight-lipped about this game's development. I can't believe all these notable actors were there from the beginning of the project. The game was originally set to be released in 2014, but it's been delayed numerous times. I would guess that the game was originally going to have all the actors we saw in the early trailers, then at some point a deal was made with Iceman, Littlefinger and friends and much of the game, voice acting (and especially the live-action stuff) had to be scrapped and redone.

They've been working with Ashmore for a year and half. The early tv stuff was probably place holder.

This guy was the original pilot/we gotta have something to demo so go shoot something Jack Joyce

Then Sean Durrie who obviously isn't that dude was Jack in the E3 demo.

Ashmore signed on and I guess they didn't have time between him shooting and gamescom to have his character model ready for GC 2014 so they went ahead and used Durrie again since his character was ready to go

Jump to GC 15. Ashmore's model is done and they've shot the show so now was the time to role out his reveal proper as Jack.

/my theory.

edit: might want to ignore the vlc lol

Will we ever see a chin UP, eyes DOWN type of cover? Anyone tried the opposite of the rule?

After a couple of covers from Naughty Dog not being so generic (TLoU and TLoUR) I'm legit sad they went with Uncharted 4's horrible one.
