I want to completely block all avatars and have the "Show Avatars" UNCHECKED in the User Control Panel. But they still show up! Is this happening only to me? Or are there others? Any help? Speak up now!

And NO, I don't want to adblock each avatar individually in Firefox.

That option in the CP is for turning off avatars hosted by this forum, seeing as all the avatars on this forum are actually hosted independently by the user, that option doesn't work.

It's adblock or bust, sadly.

I believe this forum uses a hack for the avatards and something is screwy that will not allow you to turn them off.

You could just block all images. If you're using Opera, you can block and unblock with just a click or two.
