OMFG HOLY MOTHER OF MARY IN HEAVEN I CANT BELIEVE IT WTF WHERE ARE MY SEDATIVES AAAAHHH
Is there a CD recorder I buy that will allow me to easily copy my old cassettes to CD quickly and efficiantly WITHOUT the need for a PC? Y'know, like one of those stand alone units? I've seen numerous stand alone CD recorders none of them with built in cassette decks.

On the other hand, you can buy a cassette deck for your PC.

It's not for me it's for someone who doesn't own a PC and wants to transfer her cassette catalog over to CDs

Any of the standalone cd recorders should allow you to do this. I'm not exactly sure about the easiness of such a procedure though. I mean, you would just hook up a cassette deck to the recorder through standard audio cables. It should automatically create tracks provided that there is silence between each song.

I hope that helps.

yeah but would it allow high speed dubbing? Or would the transfer have to be done in realtime?
