Do you think it will happen soon? More importantly, what are the chances that the hurricane packs be included in the platinum hits edition? I don't have xbox live yet, and the downloadable contents sounds too good to miss. I'm just trying to guage whether I should buy the game now, or wait.

It's probably going to be awhile. The game is still going for $50 at most retailers. It'll probably go down to $30 first and then after that it will go Platinum Hits. I wouldn't hold my breath on the hurricane packs being included. In most cases, Platinum Hit's versions of games are the same as their first release.

I've heard that too but I just checked at Target's website and it's listed at $49.99.

Edit: According to a thread over at CheapAssGamer, NG does ring up as $29.99 at Target.

Even when NG becomes platinum hits, doubt it'll have all of the downloadable contents included. Just look at PH ver of DOA3...

Itagaki has stated that he's going to get the hurricane packs to the Ninja Gaiden owners who aren't on Live. When, remains to be seen.

I hope it hits PH soon, because I sold it when I was strapped for cash earlier this year. I really need this game back in the collection.

Agreed. I want to give this game another go... I got terribly frustrated the first time, so it didn't seem like a big loss when I had to sell it-- but (as usual) I'm having secound thoughts about that move.

I've heard too many negative things about the game to buy it at $69.99 CAD. Def waiting for PH. Hope that's soon.

I wouldn't be crushed if they didn't include the Hurricane Pack extra content, but they should DEFINATELY include the camera fixes into any future pressings. That's just good common sense.
