Just picked this up today (I noticed it could use a bit of a boost on the charts).

Anyway, my Japanese is decent enough to play it, but I'm not sure exactly what I should be doing on the 3rd level (where you are supposed to read). I try speaking the text into the mic, but there's no visual feedback when I recite it. Also, if I just skip to the next page until I reach the end of the story, I can pass, but I don't know what the fuck I'm doing.

Any help appreciated.

That's one of the games in Brain Training where you aren't really "scored", or "judged".

Basically you are given a story, and you have to discipline yourself to read the story outloud. The DS speaker won't recognise what you are reading, so you aren't "judged" on how accurate your pronouciation is.

It's one of those games I never play, because it's not fun at all.

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks mutsu. It's a shame it doesn't judge you on this... I can read it just fine, but I get the feeling that I need to read it as fas as possible, so I'm not always comprehending as I read.

Pretty cool 'game' so far.
