If I get the Chihuahua edition, will I still be able to unlock labs/daschunds/the dogs that are listed only on the other versions of the game?

Each version has all of the dogs. You just start with different dogs.

There are just a few different Items to every edition.

i think unlocking the other dogs requires a lot of extra effort so if the do you want to start off with is in the Chihuahua edition then by all means get it, if not be prepared to work a bit harder to obtain them.

Here's a quick question: Does Nintendogs ever end? Or are you supposed to check the dogs daily into eternity?

And it's not that hard to unlock other dogs.
