I'm still playing the color off the first CD, can't wait for this, love them....

I'm sure you've heard it, but if not, I highly reccomend Living With Owusu and Hannibal. The producer is Robin Hannibal, half of Quadron.

This joint right here...

...has me wishing so bad that they do another album together

Avalanche is amazing. I am SLAIN.

Wish there were one or two more bops like Hey Love though, the album lulls a bit in the second half even though the chill mid-tempos are divine.

forgot if i already asked, but...i dig some of that soulful musiq (so beautiful still gets mad rotation) type shit, any current recommendations?

I really like these albums (Musiq's on a track on both, but the rest are smooth as butter):

The Robert Glasper Experiment - Ah Yeah feat. Chrisette Michele

The Robert Glasper Experiment - Cherish the Day feat. Lalah Hathaway

AND

The Floacist - Floetic Soul (who had another album besides this one released last year "Floetry:ReBirth")

The Floacist - Forever feat. Musiq

If you've heard these already...........enjoy them again, ha.

...Nice Fleetwod Mac flip in the first song of that SZA!

I wish half the rappers on this album where not on em lol.

Aside from a couple of the collabs(Fab n Jerimih of the top) she's good enough to ride these track solo.

I mean, Meek Mill just walk on a nice song(turn up) and took a giant stinkin shit. This guy's still horrible after all these years.

But otherwise ima keep my ears on Cassie, pretty good tape there.

Not feeling that Foreplay album by The Dream. It was dismissed halfway through.

Where Have You Been remains a bop though.

^wait, so...Mariah's doing R&B again? when's her next?

id kill for a Music Box in 2013 but i don't expect she'll go that far back, haha

Saw Mayer Hawthorne live a couple of years ago. Pretty sure he was high the whole time, some weird moments but generally he was excellent.

This doesn't pertain to modern R&B so much, but where would you guys recommend I start with R. Kelly? I'd like to get into his music but he has released a lot of shit. What would you consider his three most essential albums?

Jumping into the new Mayer Hawthorne right now. Does it have a similar feel to Tuxedo?

Starts off with Do It playing in the background. lol. Love this already.
