Hulu will become a part of a new "unified" Disney Plus app

In USA Hulu app will be shut down, Hulu content will be merged into Disney+ with its own branded section

In UK/EU/other the Star section will be rebranded as "Hulu"

Other than differences with subscriptions, globally the Disney+/Hulu/Star experience will now be the same for every country

Because those are bad apps.

Makes sense, none of these services can really justify year round subscriptions, so they gotta collapse into a single service to consolidate content and allow easier cross promotion.

Well they own them. I prefer the HULU app over Disney. But it doesn't matter.

I'm sure D+ will go up in price, I doubt we will get D+/Hulu for less than the D+ hulu combo now.

It's 10.99 with ads, 19.99 with/out currently. Hulu is 9.99, 18.99 stand alone, D+ is 9.99 and 15.99, so they are already almost 'giving' one of them away as it is. Merging the front end makes sense.

I just want a single front end that then goes to which ever service has the content (and I've subscribed to). Amazon sorta does this for some services. But its frustrating to have to go through each of these things to see if a specific show is there.
