Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool |OT| A Moon Shaped Poo

They played Creep again tonight??

The fuck??

Looking at the list for tonight... damn... that's like my dream setlist. Just by limiting the average 3 songs from KoL down to 2, they can pretty much do no wrong. When they throw Karma Police AND Paranoid Android, and then play my favorite track Street Spirit, I'd love to have been there. Bodysnatchers, 2+2=5, Nude, and Weird Fishes cements it, and Creep is the cherry on the top.

Radiohead at primavera was amazing. Little bummed that the volume wasn't very loud at all comparee to other artists. Also i almost got into my first fight as an adult during the national anthem lol

I almost got into a fight at an Atoms for Peace show three years ago :lol

I very much hope so. I really enjoy those.

Havent they done it with every record since In Rainbows?
I'm surprised we never got an Atoms for Peace Basement performance. Nigel has an even bigger role in that band and it's his show.

Fuck, I just made mysef sad. All those songs sound so good live. That would have been amazing.

details please
I was already kinda late so I couldn't get a really good spot, during the national anthem this guy kept pushing a lot trying to get ahead when we were completely packed (like sardines etc) so i got really annoyed, pladted my feet and eventually started insulting him in 3 languages. Finally he backed down but he didn't look too happy.

Merlin Beggars are apparently going after covers now.

XL are fucking cunts.

The videos are being taken down by the Merlin Network, a digital rights agency that represents tons of labels around the world, including the Beggars Group which is XL parent company. I don't think XL has much if any say in what's going on really.

I assumed XL still would've made the call on it, but you're probably right.

Back from Primavera, while they were good, it was the least enjoyable set of the three times I've seen them now.

No HTTT till the encore, specifically no Gloaming + WIEAYB. Hurts.
Didn't care for the oldies (Street Spirit, Creep, Karma Police)

No Videotape, no Reckoner, no Identikit or Present Tense!

The piano was also weirdly low in the sound mix, could barely hear Daydreaming, and Pyramid Song was also fairly lessened.

Ful Stop is indeed great live though, probably the only song from the new album that doesn't feel lesser than the studio version. Talk Show Host, The Numbers, Idioteque, Nude, Lotus Flower and Bloom were also great.

I don't blame them. It was mostly a crowd pleaser set for a festival. I can't say I didn't enjoy every last minute of it either. :D

I would love to see Creep live. Just for the novelty lol

Gives me chills watching those live videos of it

No Identikit or Present Tense is blasphemy! Hope they play those when I see them live

I would have liked Identikit and Present Tense too, but all considered the setlist was really good. It's a bit off topic, but what else did you guys see that you really liked? I thought Kamasi Washington, Julia Holter and LCD Soundsystem were dope as hell.

PJ Harvey was by far my favourite of the weekend, she was incredible.

Animal Collective's new drummer/live act for Painting With was amazing as well.

Deerhunter was really good considering I'd read Bradford Cox was all over the place at the start of this tour, they played a great set overall. Explosions in the Sky showed how great a tight post rock live set can be (something I think Sigur Ros failed at on the saturday/sunday) and yes LCD. LCD were great as always, but I've seen them like 5 times so it wasn't a surprise. Aziz Ansari was standing in front of me during it though!

There was also something special about seeing how crazy the crowd was at 3.30am for The Avalanches. Destroyer was great, first time I saw him. I saw Julia Holter earlier this year and I'm seeing her again in November, so I gave her a miss since she clashed with someone else.

Savages were as usual great, though I think the crowd let them down a bit.

I'll stop talking now.

Pretty jealous here as I love all those artists you mention dearly.

Surely now that nearly ten years has passed, they can afford to put the discbox on Spotify now. Feel like there's a whole crowd of people who've not heard the discbox stuff, just the main album.
