RAGE: The Scorchers DLC arrives next week

I've reached the Dead City, probably my favourite level, at Ultra Nightmare. oh god D:

Game is so fucking intense. I still wish headshots were more lethal but I feel that Ultra Nightmare is the difficulty this should be played at.

Headshots still work most of the time though. One or two direct hits with a Fatboy will do it. Wingsticks still do one hit kills most of the time too depending on where they hit. Ultra Nightmare IS the way to play this game.

I'm used to headshots being lethal but the basic pistol ammo sadly doesn't pack enough punch for that. It's not a dealbreaker and it encourages the use of your entire arsenal but it still requires getting used to.

Basic pistol ammo wont score one hit kills to the domepiece. That's what the Fatboys are for. And yes Minion, the DLC is fantastic.

I'll tell you what though, those fucking rebars man. Two headshots to those heavies who you first come across in the Shrouded Bunker. One will knock him back so hard he barely shakes it off, but the second just plows right into his head and puts him down. One time I took their head clean off and managed to peg it into the wall behind him.

Well, that is some good advice. I guess I know what I'm revisiting as soon as I finish the Dead City.

Man I love how this game runs now that all the kinks are ironed out. Getting flat out smooth 60 FPS performance with everything maxed. DLC is very nice and for the price? Damn I feel like I made out like a bandit.

I'm up to the Scorcher base right now and I'm sorry to see it end. I'm very pleased with the additional content but boy do I want more. The Scorcher base itself is very, very cool looking and the lead up to it in the Wellspring Tunnels while fighting those new boney enemies who bum rush you was intense as hell.

Does the nail gun work with the base game or only on the expansion?

Everywhere, ammo seems to be only bought in stores though. Rebar seems great against stronger enemies but has a very long reload time. You usually get the bar back out of an enemy when you kill them too.

What am I suppose to shoot at in the final section of the Scorchers??...hard as hell and I am on normal lol...your health goes down so fast...

I think I'm gonna give up...fuck that. I'm what I assume is the last part and I got killed by some kind of puzzle
The column that goes up and set the room on fire
.

My last save is all the way at the beginning of that section...fuck it. It was fun for a while but it got way too repetitve.

Shoot the panels in the lower center section on each side of the airship. They break away and reveals a blue metal part. That's the weak point.
Took me a while to figure out too but it's an easy fight once you figure that out.

Why can't i access any of the sewers in the steam version of the game. Tells me I need the dlc. The same dlc that I can't download off the store; as it's not there.

The Sewers were only included in the Anarchy Edition. For some reason Bethesda doesn't want late adopters to have them :/

Kinda surprised they would expand on the mutant bash thing. Felt really out of place in the game. It was kinda fun and interesting, but just felt...off. Like it didn't belong in the world.

If anyone wants to do RAGE co-op, shoot me a PM!
