I think I'm going to give South Park a proper watch. I watched the first season when it first aired in the U.K, but haven't sat down and watched too much more. I've seen the movie and the World of Warcraft episode.

"Bully" is a massively silly word and it baffles my mind that people (especially americans, brits and canadians, who shape this language) didn't long abandon it for something else. It has the same gravitas as "Meanie" and I refuse to take anyone serious who tries to use it in a serious context (e.g., dictator "bullies" a country into submission),
A "Bully" is someone who calls you a bad word in 2nd grade, and that's exactly where the usage of that term should stop in any adult with a functioning brain. It's also a great name for a silly satirical video game, not for pulitzer price winning outlets to use in geopolitical reporting.

I'm so sick of the court system.. it's so messed up that it can be so weaponized and something dear can be held from you for so long based on nothing and then when it seems like it will finally make headway and lead toward resolution, it can be reconfigured, delayed, and the whole pony show starts again and costs even more... such a sham.. Really depressing. Especially when the opposing party has deep pockets, or at least is funded by someone with really deep pockets. It feels hopeless.

it's gonna be a weird show to watch for the first time all the way through I think
really old South Park (like up to ~2012) and very recent South Park episodes and specials are fine. the old ones because they were often more vaguely about certain real life topics while making it their own story, and more recent ones because it's still somewhat relevant stuff.
but if you watch some episodes from 2013 to like 2019, you'll often either be lost because they directly parody something topical at the time that got lost in translation over the years, or you'll not care about the thing they are parodying anymore.

we got so many dogshit Star Trek dumpster fires, one worse than the last, but they still just keep coming, and endless stream of vomit. meanwhile Stargate had 1 show that had a rough start (but that actually had a lot of great moments), and went off the air for soon to be 15 years...

Im watching the Memphis/SA game and the intermissions at the arena are incredible. Right now it's Matt Hardy and some big fat guy fighting in a tiny ring and a commentator is doing play by play for the crowd.
It's both hilarious and lame. Never knew has been wrestlers did this at pro sports shows.

I dont know who Ty Jerome is until this game (on Cavs). No doubt the biggest ball hog ever for a guard. Takes ball up court, bulldozes his way in taking a bad shot, or a long shot. Hardly passes.

Sat with my mum and she's eating bass with a side serving of baked beans... I'm not a conventional eater or stickler for what has to go with what, but this is a new one.
Perfectly cooked, seasoned to perfection piece of fish (she's a great cook)...with half a can of HP Beans microwaved and dumped on the side.
