Random thoughts.

I can have weeks when I don't listen to music much at all and then suddenly have a day when I do nothing but listen to music.

This gif should play when you ignore a thread and it's creator.

I think I'm going to buy a vending machine and put some shit in it, see how it does.

I thought about doing this with some of my spare cash, but one must jump through all kinds of licensing, tax, health regulations, and more hoops for my state then basically the same for the city. So it only seems to make sense here if someone is trying to make a business out of it - like buying and installing five or more machines in high traffic areas.

My random thought: Law & Order: SVU but with a laugh track

Sorry for whoring lots of posts on here today, my plans got changed cuz of the rain so it ended up being a relax day but at the same time my health issue is being a tad annoying so posting has kept my mind somewhat off of it.

I'm listening to a song that says "defeat! defeat!" and I keep hearing "the feet! the feet!" instead.

That's all.

Kawhi Leonard got paid$50 million under the table in a super shady endorsement deal when he signed with the clippers.

He might be the laziest nba star in awhile. Doesn't even show up to his fake endorsement signings and gets busted. After leaving the raptors hes barely played in 4 years. Just totally checked out.

Hoping he gains 50 lbs as soon as he retires cause that's straight bum mentality

Just walking into work and these 3 25ish years old girls were have a loud conversation about being salaried employees.

The brunette was complaining that her company was making her work from 7 to 4, which is 9 hours. The other 2 were agreeing with her that it was bullshit and one said, are they going to pay you 10% more?

I wanted to ask so many questions. I was under the impression salaried workers had a fixed income which was generally higher but the trade off was you might have to work a shit load some weeks.

So I looked it up and our AI friends say, "Salaried employees generally work around 40 hours a week, though expectations can vary by job and industry. While they are paid a fixed salary, the actual hours can fluctuate; non-exempt salaried employees are entitled to overtime pay for hours exceeding 40 in a workweek, whereas exempt salaried employees do not receive this additional compensation. Employers set the work hours, which can sometimes be more or less than 40 hours, depending on project demands and company needs."

Ive never worked a salaried job like that. It also seems like it varies a lot based on industry as well though. If it wasn't creepy to just interrupt 3 girls convo at 6:30 am in a public park i would have. Im just gonna be intrigued by this for a bit

Yesterday was, for me, the most entertaining and surprising start to an NFL season in memory.

Maybe it's because I stopped paying such close attention to sports long ago. But still, the events of nearly every game and the performance of many players was not at all what I was expecting.

I remember reading an article on how the younger generations are reading less and I always felt that kind of depressing. I don't remember where I read that article but they were talking about how low the literacy rate is. I've been reading books as a hobby since 8th Grade (1997 - 1998) so reading that wasn't a surprise but was still disappointing to hear

I was googling game stuff to read and I stumbled upon some other forum. I looked around, place was dead as fuck but it actually had a thread about this place lmfao and some choice words for particular members. I have no opinion on said members cuz I don't know them very well but I thought it was a funny read.

Feels good to knock out debts and have sudden extra capital to allocate/save/invest. Knowing other financial obligations loom somewhat depress that euphoria, but all the same.

My hair is growing again entirely black and I gained 3" in height in the last 2 years and my doctor is baffled of why.
Sounds like you didn't measure correctly. You could gain a bit by correcting your posture and if you had a tumour that caused acromegaly you might gain a bit from your feet bones becoming a bit thicker, but 3 entire inches is impossible in a human adult.

I did a 5 year debt consolidation plan that ended in 2023 and it's the best feeling owing no one anything.

When's the last time you squeezed your butthole tight to hold in an impending turd because a game was so good so you wanted to delay the toilet trip by several minutes?

For me it was Helldivers 2, PS5. We were at extraction, some higher difficulty. Standing in front of the TV, legs crossed, bunghole clenched tight, cheeks straining. We were being swarmed, the strategems dropping all over. We're diving and crawling, scrabbling for weapons, dudes (and one girl) are sweatily barking out directions over their mics like we were grunts being ambushed in Vietnam. The entire time I got sweat beading on my forehead, holding back the turtle's head, laser focused.

As soon as that ship took flight I waddled as fast as I could with my bung air tight to the bathroom. I made it by mere seconds. Seconds.

Things are getting spicy in Poland in the last few hours

Feel sorry for Poland, they've had to deal with a lot of shit for a long time now

Hopefully this will cool down quickly

Are you talking about this?
Poland activated Article 4 of the NATO Treaty on Wednesday to allow for consultations with allies hours after its armed forces downed multiple Russian drones that had entered its airspace.

"The shooting down of drones threatening our security is a success for Polish and NATO forces, which simultaneously changes the political situation," Prime Minister Donald Tusk said.

"In this regard, allied consultations have taken the form of a formal request to activate Article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty," he added. His decision was made after consultation with President Karol Nawrocki.
