Everyone obviously knows the 2001 attacks on the Twin Towers, but how many people remember the World Trade Center suffered an earlier attack in 1993?
Before my only knowledge was just some really blurry newscasts of the event, but I recently found some high quality videos recorded right after the bombing and the work that was done to repair it.
It's especially surreal seeing the firefighters walk around the WTC lobby and everyone is feeling calm or relaxed. Definitely a much more different atmosphere compared to what happened to them 8 years later.
