That guy is such a little bitch. I've seen countless articles about him complaining about this and that. Fade away into obscurity now, Ray. You won't be missed.

He killed his own career. He should have expressed his concerns behind closed doors; now, he'll probably be blacklisted by every major studio because they'll fear that he'll air their dirty laundry (which every business has).

If they'd not shoehorned Cyborg into the Justice League, where he doesn't belong, then none of this bollocks would have happened, so a bit of me is glad he's torching the character and everything around him but man, what a little tosspot this guy is.

Also, dumb as a brick. He has made it abundantly clear he is a lose cannon with a massive ego, that will scream racism if he's not pandered to. Outside of one or two tokenism castings for woke points, his career is over.

On the plus side, I have started watching Doom Patrol and there is a night and day difference in quality between that rendition of the character and that actors abilities and this cunt's.

Did anything substantial come out of this or did he just get his feelings hurt because Joss Whedon was mean one day?

It’s really hard to differentiate millennial butthurt from legitimate issues these days. Especially when they’re airing dirty laundry on social media platforms, which is a big red flag IMO.

That Joss Whedon was abusive behind the scenes and that DC/Warner did nothing despite complaints from the cast and crew.
What was he doing? Back handing people on set? Verbal abuse? How bad could someone be that you refuse to make stupid amounts of money acting in his film? Was he openly calling him the N word?

My thoughts on this as well..

Was someone else of the cast complaining other than him?

That’s what I’m saying. What exactly is it that happened. I can’t imagine someone just being “mean” turning me away from being a star in a fucking DC movie (maybe he just likes Marvel more and wants to be the new black panther lol 🤷‍♂️)

I don't know if it ever officially came out, but word among people in the know was that Whedon was very vocal about what he thought about Snyder's version while on the set. Snyder gave Ray Fisher his break (he was just a stage actor before BvS) so he worships the guy and got super offended hearing Joss Whedon trashing the Snyder version of the movie.

I've read that Whedon has a history of being a mean SOB behind the scenes, all the way back from his days on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

By contrast, Zack Snyder apparently is one of the nicest guys despite the dark subject matter of his films. The cast of Justice League all felt loyalty to him.

Well, that sounds like actually an honorable thing to do.

Eh, I liked the joke they made out of it and, let's be fair, it's not exactly a "Booyah!" Kind of show.

“I remember [Fisher] being upset that we wanted him to say ‘Booyaa,’ which is a well known saying of Cyborg in the animated series,” Berg added.

Oh ok. that makes a lot more sense.

Hmm. Kinda unfortunate. I was really hoping Whedon would suffer because of this. Then again is he working at all?

I liked his performance a lot because he has a young face with an old voice and that contrast makes for very powerful screen presence. His character's arc in JL was supposed to be incredible and we're literally only weeks away from seeing it at this point.

But I accept that he's been handling this like a little bitch while lighting his career on fire with no idea what he's doing, which to me is nonetheless sad to see.

His head is small relative to his body, which means that a disproportionately large portion of his brain matter is devoted to bodily functions and a disproportionately small portion is devoted to cognition.

Did people actually go to theaters to see DC movies? They are the very definition of watching at home for free and still feeling like you wasted money.

That's your opinion; I've seen every DCEU movie in theaters except for Wonder Woman 1984. The only one that I didn't enjoy was Suicide Squad; as for Justice League, while it was disappointing relative to my expectations, it was still enjoyable because it's like a live-action three-part episode from the Justice League animated series. Take note of my posters; I'm a fan of the DCEU, though I admit that it's not perfect.
