I don't think it matters on 3DS, the resolution is always 400x240, due to parallax barrier.

I still don't like the artstyle — never been a fan of that kind of esthetics — and the overall goofiness of the game. To me, the Rayman style from back in the day was always about being purely gorgeous/lush/poetic with a small dose of humor, not the other way around. It's too artsy for my taste, I'd like something a bit more functional.

Other than that, it looks fun with good gameplay and character physics — rare enough these days to deserve a mention —, not to mention awesome 4-player.

This looks like a competent alternative to NSMB. Watching it closely.

Those pics look way better on my phone than did the 1st two demo videos I watched. I watched the demo vids 1st and was gonna post it appeared almost a slight step back, but then I saw the screens. Think it was just the video on my phone wasn't as good.

in any case I'm surprised how much the level design is more reminiscent of original 2D rayman with cutesy cake lands/fire lands and stuff. Teensies were from Rayman 2 universe, right?

Also the fairy looks like Bethilda from OG Rayman, only a bit sexed up. Does this mean we get oldschool Mr. Dark as the villain and not razorbeard and space pirates?
