Here it is:
The swedish magazine Gamereactor is the first scandinavian magazine to try out RE4 for PS2. The author of the article says that his overall impression is surprisingly good and better than his expectations. The graphics isn't as polished as the GCN version, but everything runs at a solid framerate. The graphical effects doesn't let down and the textures have "that gritty look we've all learned to love" (?). He goes on to say that the dualshock isn't as well suited for the game as the gamecube's controller and clarifys that the analogue sticks aren't as precise as the gamecube's, which leads to some problems with the aiming.

Spoilers:

He also says that the bonus missions with Ada sheds some new light on certain aspects of the game. Like who it was the rang the church bell in the village and why. We get to know more about Luis and why he was involved with the Los Illuminados (didn't we already know that?). The game offers some new revelations and surprises along the way. He also says that the crossbow they've talked about is Ada's. The crossbow serves another purpose besides being a new weapon - apparently it opens up some new areas (grappling hook probably)

He says that wether or not the new additions are worthy of another purchase is up the buyer. The PRL412 weapon feels like something from Halo and doesn't really add to the experience. Leon's new custome is certain to be recognized by avid RE-fans and Ashley's new costume is his favourite surprise(!). Apparently it's quite revealing...

The load times are longer and the graphics still needs some polishing though he's confident that this will be rectified in time for the launch. He concludes with saying that RE4 is a must buy for PS2-owners who hasn't already bought the game for GCN and is a must buy for the RE-fans who already has the game.

i played from the beginning in the village and as i said, the visuals looked similar to the gamecube version (the textures werent as good, but in terms of ps2 visuals the game really shines). the controls, especially the aiming was not as precise as the gamecube version - but capcom might fix this till release.

overall the ps2 resident evil 4 seems like a really good port.

PS: black?

damn, i thought, that i forgot something.
