Google Translate has been a godsend last night. I had two good conversations with it. I might try to be more outgoing and use it randomly to talk to people cause last night was my favorite night of the trip; drinking Whiskey competitively with 2 businessmen at a restaurant that seats 7 people and arguing with a lady with dreads in a rock bar about Guns N Roses and BABYMETAL.

SUGOI! That's so awesome to hear! I use Google-sensei so much when I'm out and about (and even when I'm at school). I think the willingness to go out of your way to genuinely communicate with someone really means a lot to ANYONE, not just people in a foreign country (although that just makes getting through each other's AT Fields even cooler lol). Kind of crazy because I've been listening to nothing but Live at Wembley after being given it as a gift in Tokyo this past weekend. Keep it up!
