I hate every picture I'm in so I think it's just like, a thing where most people don't find themself to be photogenic. I'll look at myself in a mirror and go "My fucking shit is on point, let's get out there and fucking slay" then take 20 minutes trying to photo myself and they all look like a sack of walnuts with a five o'clock shadow and a Ronald McDonald impersonator's scalp lain haphazardly on top of it.

Anyways, I got three pics to choose from; red, blue or carrot in mouth. Never changed my avatar...pretty much ever on any site I've used this name so this should be interesting.

Blue looks best IMO. Also, everyone looks worse in pictures than they do in the mirror. Not to say these are bad pictures.

I've been spoiled by selfies. Not having control of the camera makes me feel like any non-self picture makes me look worse.

I'm Ryan. I think I set mine to my real pic last year. I don't remember. Time becomes blurry in game dev as it is, then we also had a baby this year. Here I am on Christmas Day. My daughter hates New Day, but I love them and my wife got me the three pack as a gift. You can tell how excited my daughter is.

True story, this thread always screws up my post reading for a bit, because when someone has an avatar of a character I recognize I always read their posts in that characters voice in my head. So when people switch to their real pic, I don't know what life is anymore. At least in regards to reading posts.

I actually work at a company contracted through the state for healthcare stuff, if you can believe it. I go around with red hair, piercings (not my lips tho, that was pushing it a bit too far) dressed in a nice suit. Amuses the hell out of me. If I've learned one thing, it's that when I visit an elderly disabled woman who can't bathe or dress herself and tell her MassHealth will pay for her to hire someone to help her live her life independently they do not give a fuck what I look like. Luckily my boss is also a good friend and we go to metal shows so he don't curr.


Decided to go with red as I think it looks the most flattering and Imma wait for those DMs to flood my inbox. Thanks much Vajra, I'll Dropbox you video proof of it's effectiveness when shit rolls in.

So, is this treated like a community thread where people participating just shoot the shit? Getting that vibe. I've never done this shit before so I'm popping my cherry.
