I don't know if it's a record for OT, but definitely not if you're counting Gaming. Dark Souls went pretty quick.

I was never a huge poster to begin with, although I do admit I think I've been posting LESS now...
 
I think that was legitimately the first thread I ever missed once it got locked. Hopefully it's all good to keep the party going for the rest of the month.

You guys are great.

I'm always posting in animeGAF, I know I'm the one who recruited Uchip (he may say otherwise but he's being tsundere), I also post in the gaming side often too. I feel as though switching to my real pic has done little in changing my overall posting style [for better or worse].

Its crazy that RP January actually got a second thread. Its one of the most fun I've had in GAF in a long time even if I am not the most active poster these days. :P!
 
I just spent the last couple of hours playing a custom L4D2 campaign with friends

At one point, you have to enter a chamber and the person inside it gets magic fire abilities

So my friend and I both went inside and it apparently CRAZY GLITCHES THE GAME and we could not get out or harm each other

At some point all we could hear is his wife laughing in the background as we struggled to get out and eventually had to quit and try again

Yeah I noticed I did that a lot when I posted in the original thread. Then I started to stray away from here LOL DX

I just spent like three hours playing Dungeons of Dredmor. I'm trying to get down to the new floors with the expansion, but I'm noobing it up; I even killed myself once trying to figure out what one of the new wands did (who would have guessed a Narwhal Wand would have been so deadly).

There's actually a cell phone vid of the whole thing too. Can't wait to see that shit after the tech guys here make a dubstep remix of it.

We're not cliquey at all! Everybody in here knows that, I mean all the people who post in here are really generally intelligent and perceptive and pick up on things very quickly and have that kind of information offhand. You know, cause we all post in here. I can see how other people, people who don't post in here, could get that impression, because well obviously they're not a person who posts in here. But all the people who do post in here totally get that we're not a clique.

;)
 
Wait, I assumed the other thread was closed because it was approaching the maximum post limit.

I hope this thread doesn't go away. I quite like it and I post a lot in other threads, too. I've just been posting here and not gaming a lot the last few weeks because gaming is kind of a cesspool right now!

One of the witnesses of the accident got the whole thing on vid from me having the right of way to me getting hit to me running 80ft through a parking lot with a broken arm and damn year yanking that bitch out through the window.

I'll probably get a hold of it later. They took the guy's SD card to make sure it doesn't get tampered with but I should get a chance to see it at some point.

I've posted at a couple of niche boards for years, but when I first came here it blew my mind how big this place actually is. Truly an international forum.

RP hasn't affected my posting style at all really. I just pop in and out of here at my leisure, like most other threads. I've only recently discovered the benefits of the "Subscriptions" function.
 
I'm hoping we at least keep the nice atmosphere and how well we all get along.

I'm mentally logging usernames so I can associate them with pictures. It's way harder to be mean or condescending to someone with a picture.
