I'm just going to say, that as a Windows Systems Administrator... I fucking hate Microsoft.
Updates came out last night and hosed 50+ machines because of a dependency with one friggen application. I've just spent the last 2.5 hours in hell. Luckily, I'm a fucking genius and got it all up and running but damnit I was hoping to not have to do any work today.

Same here but GODDAMMIT I hate the way they make everything obsolete so damn quickly.
Wife bought me a new keyboard for my 2008 iMac running OS X 10.5, but all the new keyboards are made for 10.6. So I had to download an application so I can use the damn F keys as they are supposed to (volume, brightness, etc).
This is what drives me nuts about Macs. My mother wanted to buy an audiobook on iTunes, but because her OS is too old, they wouldn't let her download the latest version and so she couldn't buy anything. Her reaction was pretty much, "Okay, I guess you don't want my money."
Anyway, I've been using Macs since 2004, but they really piss me off now so I'm going back to Windows whenever I buy a new computer. Tired of Apple.

I'm too addicted to building my PCs and having control over everything to go Mac.
If I ever did, it would be for video editing. AMD is having a hard time keeping up with intensive projects. :\

I feel the same way except I do miss my macbook pro as the laptop of choice. Right now I have a loaner from work and it's about 10 years old.
I don't mind not having much control, but it really gets to me that they are overpriced with relatively cheap parts that fall apart fairly quickly. I think the only draw for me is I like the OS, but it feels silly to stick with it because of that.
That and as I get more into PC gaming again it just seems logical. Bootcamp is great and all, but it overheats the computer like mad when I'm on it and I hate having to switch back and forth.
