I broke that rule hard on St. Patrick's Day one year.
I gave a presentation while drinking a coke from a bottle with a decent amount of rum in it and got an A. Then I spent the rest of the day sitting around with friends and drinking.
And not to mention, what's up with that backwards arching finger? I'm gonna have nightmares. I thought HP was the alien.

This is what I keep saying! It drives me mad actually. Every picture is a new me. :/ Reminds me of a book I read where the daughter of the fairy queen was stolen away but in order to hide her they made it so that her face would never look the same twice (so that people would forgot about her more easily I guess.) It feels like that!
Oh well, at least my boyfriend says I look much better in real life than in any picture :/

Look again. The thumb is pointing downwards, the index is extended followed clasped by the middle, ring and pinky.
Heh, I look quite different in most of my pictures depending on how my hair is in the pic- up, down, curly, straight, wavy etc. Or if you change your hair colour, fringes, no fringes. That's probably why Lissar looks so different in hers as well.
Maybe you've been teleporting and you dont know it, since, you know, everyone is new on the other side and all.

It's okay, I like the darker hair too. Plus I was pretty young in that picture and my face has changed somewhat. That's one reason I look pretty different.
Ironically, my boyfriend loves Fanta. He'd probably love a Fanta Sea.

My problem ended up being not wanting to do tropes. I kept trying to make everything more than cliches which is at odds with NaNo and not worrying about quality.
I take pride in looking identical from day to day. Sometimes I part my hair on the opposite side and everyone looks at me funny.

The hand thing reminds me of in middle school when I got a lot of attention because of my hands. I'm really good at cracking my knuckles and for some reason this impresses people (?) and people were constantly asking me to show it off.
My hands are my best feature though, I must say.

Your sight sounds like it's still quite decent. I wasn't able to read unless something was smacking my face. Another thing to note of is if your work requires you to get a specific surgery or to not get surgery. I heard that pilots had to get PRK over LASIK.
PRK is 3-6 months, huge variance depending on factors. LASIK is like a week.
Always go for a second diagnosis, emerg if everything seems to make it "worsen" and don't know why, walk-in clinic if it's a milder thing. Nowadays there are hotlines on phone and internet that connect you to nurses or specialists (ex: poison control) as well.
