I thought the previews made it look like some crappy family style action movie because of the kid. It was actually not too bad - good action and special effects. Jackman overacted a little bit and the kid was OK (for a kid). I didn't love it or hate it.
I saw the movie. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't memorable either. You could read the plot from a mile away.
What I found hilarious is that it takes place some time in "the future", and all the robots and computers look "futuristic" (lol)... but all the cars, clothing, hairstyles, and various other objects are 100% this year. It's kind of pathetic the lack of visual design that goes into these movies.
