TVGuide.com:

I am super upset that Reaper was canceled. The finale was great but totally left us hanging. What's the "greater good"? Is there any chance we can get some answers or a continuing story in maybe a comic book? If not, any word on where the writers were planning on going in Season 3? — Gerald
TIM: Reaper star Bret Harrison tells us he saw hints in the finale that Andi (played by Missy Peregrym) "was going to probably be a reaper in the next season." The story will survive as a comic book, but don't put your faith in talk of the show surviving in syndication: "[That] is a no-go," says Tyler Labine, aka Sock. "It's not officially, officially dead, but as far as everyone is concerned, it's over." As for whether Bret and Tyler would be interested in a Reaper movie, look for our full-length interview soon.

im gonna be honest, if it becomes a comic, theres a good chance that i will not follow it.

I agree. I'm not planning on reading the Pushing Daisies comics and have recently given up on both the Buffy Season 8 and Angel comic books.

Shows seem to lose most of their charm in the transfer from TV to comics.

Well, there you go.

well we knew they were leaving long before any talks of the syndication came around. it was rumored that the show might still continue without them, and Finn pointed out that they would continue to provide input if it did.

Argh that smiley face looks rather douchey when posted here. :(

It's really too bad about the show. I haven't been following Reaper consistently since the first season but I generally enjoyed the show and it was one of the only very few good shows on the CW.

Damnit, why do people keep reviving this thread? its like someone gets a kick out of seeing my hopes dashed where more news about its cancellation get posted

Going from Reaper to Dollhouse?

What a downgrade for them.

Christ, you can't even be happy for them. Constantly a douche.

Too bad Dollhouse got canned like you said it wou...oh, that's right.

Well he is right, Reaper is much better than Dollhouse. That being said, he's still annoying and I don't even care for Dollhouse.

btw, I just finished watching the first 4 seasons of Supernatural a couple of weeks ago. This thread title sucks.

Supernatural was easily the best network show last year. (Yes even better than Chuck).

Reaper had a lot of potential. It was going the comedic Supernatural route too. First season was all monster of the week pretty much non-stop. Then they start added more and more mythology to the point where you can't wait to see what happens next.

I'm going to have to agree with you I'm a huge Chuck fan (day 1), but there were a couple of so so episodes in season 2. Meanwhile, I can't think of one bad or average episode of Supernatural during season 4.

Both are great shows, everybody should watch them.

jesus christ i dont think ive ever seen you post anything positive, ever. truly dead inside

I post tons of positive stuff in threads about good shows (Breaking Bad, Big Love, Party Down, Pushing Daisies). I've also posted plenty of positive comments about Reaper in this very thread.

How fucking funny was the "Ghostfacers" reality show episode? :lol

Yeah that was a good episode. Supernatural's stand alone episodes are the best. I usually can't stand them in TV shows but I love them in this show

Hollywood Babylon, Mystery Spot, Monster Movie, Cris Angel is a Douchebag were some of my favorites. I'm defiantly missing some.

well, I saw the first 2 episodes of Supernatural a couple months ago. They were alright. I'll get to the rest eventually...

It starts off kind of slow but it begins to pick up towards the middle of the second season. By the third season the show is great, by the fourth it's amazing.

sigh, this thread is now a where is everyone going

"Reaper" co-star Missy Peregrym has been tapped as the lead of Canadian cop drama "Copper," which will air on ABC.

Billed as "Grey's Anatomy" set in the world of rookie cops, "Copper" centers on Andy McNally (Peregrym), a newly minted cop fresh from the academy and the daughter of a homicide detective. She is anxious about her first day on the job, which doesn't go as well as she had wished.

ABC acquired "Copper" in April from Canadian producer E1.

Filming on the series, which has a 13-episode order, is slated to begin shortly in Toronto.

Montreal-born Peregrym most recently played the female lead Andi on the CW's supernatural dramedy "Reaper." She also co-starred on the ABC drama "Life as We Know It" and recurred on "Heroes" and "Smallville."
