Finn said:Tara and Michelle love the show as it's been their baby for a decade. Should there be a 3rd season, both of them have it worked out that they would consult on the show.
I just wanted to clarify, if there is a 3rd season, Tyler would continue on Reaper. His other show, which was just picked up, would then be forced to recast his part. He wouldn't be pulling double duty.
Costanza said:Finn said Sock would stay on board and the creators would still consult if it got picked up again.
Jenny Wade (Nina) is the latest to call for a third season of Reaper Season 3.
Apparently a big help in getting more is to get Tribune-owned CW stations to sign up for more Reaper.
Here's what Jenny had to say in an open letter to fans:
Ive been hearing talk that the Tribune may have something to do with saving Reaper from the undeserved condemnation to the proverbial TV graveyard by pairing it with LOTS. This news is beyond exciting.
As a cast member I can tell you that we are all on board with you and fully supportive of this venture. We love our show and believe it has all the potential in the world to make a serious impact for whomever decides to champion it!
The show has an incredibly dedicated fanbase, as shown by the series astronomical DVD sales and diligence in scoring admirable ratings against juggernaut American Idol two seasons running!
Seeing this series thrive, as it is meant to, and WILL DO, is something I, and its legions of fans, anticipate highly!
Sincerely,
Jenny Wade
Demon Nina Reaper, Season 2 cast member
You can send an e-mail to Tribune here.
Blogger "Nick C," on the other hand, is claiming that ABC Studios also needs to know there's interest, and that some affiliates have not even been approached by Reaper's production studio. You can e-mail ABC Studios here. Be polite - a little courtesy goes a long way!

Ashhong said:i dont understand. whats LOTS stand for? and i didnt even realize it was up against AI 2 seasons in a row. WTF does the CW expect?
Finn, any idea when news of the syndication thing would happen?
Cornballer said:Seasonfinale on tonight. Don't read the Aint-it-Cool preview because they summarize most of the episode.series?
Costanza said:I didn't like the ending scene at all.
Otherwise, good finale.
mYm|17| said:that finale was lacking at the end man, was hoping there was some resolution
Just please no cliff-hangers, anything but that. Not again...

I mean, I guess it wasn't really a cliffhanger, in the sense that it didn't like, end in the middle of a sentence. But... fingers crossed for a season 3 pickup in syndication.
Reaper Lives?
Some more updates regarding the possibility of a third season of Reaper...
Insider "Nick C." is saying that Reaper may be going to cable for Season 3 (possibly SciFi/SyFy, but not Spike TV), but the most telling might be Jenny Wade, who says on her Twitter account "we'll know by the end of the day."
UPDATED: It's now sounding like there could be an official announcement tomorrow. Stay tuned!
ANOTHER UPDATE (7PM PT): Apparently the cable channel that is interested in Reaper is NOT SciFi.
Assuming that there actually is another channel involved, I'm kind of glad the show's not falling into SciFi's hands. I don't like the direction that station is moving in.ANOTHER UPDATE (7PM PT): Apparently the cable channel that is interested in Reaper is NOT SciFi.

If true that's pretty lame, considering some of the other poorly rated shows that got renewed this spring. Not sure how I'd feel about Reaper without Sock anyway.
Ashhong said:it was said earlier, Reaper is Socks priority one and would continue to do the show, so i dont know who to believe here.
Reaper's Survival: Have We Been Led On?
Insider "Nick C," who along with Jenny Wade on Twitter broke the news that Reaper may be going to cable for Season 3, is now saying that some actors have been let out of their contracts and that affiliates being told the show has been sold to cable may be "a lie."
Hopefully all of us who are hoping for a third season aren't clinging to a false hope. Unlike some other recently-canceled shows, Reaper is affordable to produce, and could really thrive somewhere that cares about more than just women ages 12-34. Stay tuned... let's hope someone makes an official decision shortly. Today would have been nice.
dead souls said:All I know is that Nick C. has been remarkably accurate with the inside information he's posted on TVbythenumbers. So if he says that multiple Reaper cast members have been let out of their contracts--which he now says in the comments on the link I posted--I'd bet he's correct.
Hopefully something works out with the show. I'd gladly watch a third season.
TOM f'N CRUISE said:they better bring it back..........................they better
Well James Hibberd has confirmed to me that it isn't dead.
dead souls said:Reaper is dead according to the comments of a crew member at Nick C's blog. Link
That sucks if true.
Kagari said:Show is most likely dead for good now. I know a lot of people over at reaperdmv.com are writing in looking for answers and what not.
What a giant clusterfuck.
Hopefully for a final send off to fans they could make an alternate ending for the dvd.Costanza said:Yeah, that would be terrible. Oh well.
Hope Finn keeps us updated on whatever project he works on next.
The DVD comes out tomorrow, so that isn't happeniong.Rikyfree said:Hopefully for a final send off to fans they could make an alternate ending for the dvd.
Costanza said:The DVD comes out tomorrow, so that isn't happeniong.
Kagari said:Already been charged from Amazon for it, so hopefully I'll get it tomorrow.
Anyway, some fans over at reaperdmv.com are starting a campaign to get the show brought back for at least 2010. I'll post more details when they become available. Some industry insider is going to help back it or something so we'll see.
