Simps for Amouranth
I gotta say that trailer ticked all my boxes for what I want in a Synder cut, looked bloody awesomely gory af
Anyone I know that watched it says it's beyond woeful but it looks like a Friday nite loada beers kinda movie to me once the kids go off to bed, some incredible looking visuals in that trailer tbf, was there much new stuff or was it all the same shit but with overlaid CGI blood? His director's cuts generally add two or three points to the quality of his films, so given that these two movies were solid 2-3/10... I guess we're getting a couple of 5-6/10's instead?

A lot of that trailer was new footage and there's apparently over an hour extra.Anyone I know that watched it says it's beyond woeful but it looks like a Friday nite loada beers kinda movie to me once the kids go off to bed, some incredible looking visuals in that trailer tbf, was there much new stuff or was it all the same shit but with overlaid CGI blood?
I watched an hour and 40 minutes and it's much better than the original cut. The pacing is better and there's more meat on its bones. Like the soldier dude and the robot actually do stuff now. It has more time to breathe and flow, instead of speedrunning the main quest.
The new intro is dope. They should make a TV show with Admiral Noble. Every week he fucks up a new planet. The guy is tremendously charismatic.
Promising but I heard from someone that apparently they didn't think it possible but he made it worse lol ack FFS, tbf I wasn't expecting him to turn a complete train wreck around, still as soon as I get some free time away from NMS I'll give this a shotI watched an hour and 40 minutes and it's much better than the original cut. We still didn't get your overall out 10 score! All right, finished part 2. Now I didn't watch any of the PG-13 part 2 so I can't comment on differences, other than the obvious like the LENGTHY full nude sex scene (and wow, that lead lady is well put together) and the RIDICULOUS levels of gore when everyone starts throwing around plasma bolts that just SHREAD HEADS and totally gib folks under fire. The constant slo-mo is much better when the actors are running through fire hoses of blood, body parts, and blaster fire. Part 2 is basically just a big battle over that little village (how that tiny farm town suddenly became so critical to the Motherworld that they couldn't just blast it from space is a bit of a stretch
I'm guessing the prelude bits with each warrior were cut from the PG-13 version, but they added needed depth to everyone but Conan guy, who never really seemed to fit in this world. He tames a pegasus but then is relegated to hitting folks with axes, never taming a dragon or some other crazy thing to go fight spider tanks with. I did like the royal family stuff, though it's all saved for any future film. Not sure why they cast the main bad guy (Belisarus?) and then covered him with bad prosthetics, guess there (may) be a good reason eventually. Not as many wierd things since part 2 is mostly set on the farming planet, but the giant naked robot lady being used has a hyperdrive is a great 40K type dystopian sci-fi concept.
That plus the crazy gore.....kinda yeah. Hell, I would have loved MORE nudity, they cast a lot of hot women for that village. Zacks visuals really need that type of saucy gratuitous stuff, all his best films are rated R. The additional 'story' such as it was, helped a little, mostly just having strange and unexplained things and cool ideas. The funky ice and fire swords, how hard they are to hold, the diesel smoke belching machines, those anti-matter cannon manual of operations taken straight from a WW2 battleship, it's all good stuff. It's really just the main story that was kinda boring.Basically they added nudity and that was all you needed.

That's hard, it was a FUN watch, but not sure how repeatable it will be. The PG-13 part 1 was a 5/10 for me, but the DC is a solid 7.5/10, maybe even an 8/10 if you can binge it all at once and really get immersed in it, a bit of alcohol certainly helps. I wanna see more as any expansion of the conflict promises to be damned epic if he can keep that level of visual quality.
Heh heh, not quite as its really just 2 scenes (unlike something like Spartacus, Black Sails, Davinci's Demons, Obliterated, Strike Back or the like where it's main selling point). Probably more the violence, really, they REALLY lean into slo-mo human destruction and battle. Makes Saving Private Ryan seem like a nerf war.Adjusted for nudity bias, a 3/10

I likes what I likes.I find your understanding of which shows have the best nudity disturbing.
