This reminds me... I need to buy a new printer. The printer I have now (Epson Stylus Photo 8xx) is the worst piece of crap I've ever owned, printer or otherwise. Its slow, loud, uses a ton of ink, and the colors are all messed up. I hate it. I just want to throw it out of a window and smash it to pieces or something.

I thought about a laser printer. The print quality is excellent but he ink cartridges are expensive aren't they? Thankfully you can print hundreds of pages with just one cartridge. Can they dry up if you don't use them a lot?

I have the lower version of it (ML-1710) and have had it for close to a year now. Absolutely no regrets.
