He is not wrong.
The rest of the truth is that Wii U's launch line-up was also "meh".
Meh launches everywhere!!!!
It's the dawn of a new Meh-neration!
That sounded better in my mind than read out loud. :/

If their launch line ups are meh, then what the hell is Nintendo's launch line up? Utter dogshit?

I love the "you can't have fun and good technology at the same time" meme.
It's almost as though he's paid to promote Nintendo consoles over competitive products.
I just said they both have meh lineups...
This is kind of why I'm not getting some of the responses in this thread. Isn't this his job?
“I look at our lineup of titles and I feel good about our lineup. We’ve got Zelda. We’ve got Mario. We’ve got Donkey Kong. In addition to great titles like Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101, I feel very good about our lineup, and I feel very good about the value proposition we’re putting out there for the consumer.”
We have our strategy, we've got great Windows Mobile devices in the market today. You can get a Motorola Q phone now for $99, it's a very capable machine. It'll do music, it'll do Internet, it'll do email, it'll do instant messaging. So, I kinda look at that and I say, well, I like our strategy. I like it a lot.
It's surprising how many people are hanging their hats on a F2P fighting game developed by a Western studio with a mediocre track record.
I consider the launches of each respective console almost better than the entirety of the whole lineup that's there for WiiU.
hahahaha
oh man. Killzone shadow fall isn't decent looking?
I hope so. Nintendo need a schooling.Reggie is going to get his ass pounded by the PS4.
"Weve got Zelda. Weve got Mario. Weve got Donkey Kong."
Go back 20 years and you'll hear the same thing.
Hehehehe. He's got some cheek talking down other companies launch line ups.
It's very pretty. The problem is that it's still fucking Killzone.
I agree with him actually. Both launch line ups are pretty "meh". But the Wiiu is also extremely "meh" imo.
oh he really did say meh
"Weve got Zelda. Weve got Mario. Weve got Donkey Kong."
Go back 20 years and you'll hear the same thing.
It looks like another Killzone...so no, not really?
What did you expect him to say?
It's not a f2p game and there has been times where a mediocre developer made great games. I see the game and it looks fine,i don't see it being bad honestly. Don't forget Rare is overseeing it too.

Yup. He just lists characters and not games which shows how arrogant he is. Basically he's saying. 'Doesn't matter how good or bad our games are, so long as it has our mascots in it people will all it up'
And they still sell 20 years later.

He just insulted the biggest games by EA, Activision, Ubisoft, Sony and MS. No wonder why wii U has minimal third party support.
I have to admit, when he says it like that it sounds oh so derivative."Weve got Zelda. Weve got Mario. Weve got Donkey Kong."
Go back 20 years and you'll hear the same thing.
You're either extremely blind and need your eyes check or you SERIOUSLY overestimate what the Ps3 or 360whatever can do. But considering the quality of posts when it comes to consoles I'm honestly not surprised.I watched the Killzone gameplay video and wasn't impressed. It looks like something this generations hardware could do.
You mean three franchises with (typically) quality releases? I've played Killzone 1, 2 and the PSP game...they're all OK, sorta.Funny you'd say that in a thread about reggie namedropping Mario, Zelda, Pikmin etc etc.
Two mediocre developers are better than one, I guess.
