Remakes! REMAKES!

- Metroid 2 remade high res 2D. (at least DS quality)
- Castlevania motherfucking collection -- with AT LEAST SOTN graphic quality + remix soundtrack , THX.
- Jumping Flash Collection PS3 -- MGS4 quality graphics -- omg i die.
- FF6 in Advent Children graphic quality, remade sound THX. (maybe later on PS3?)

We are drown in bad ports and original collections. I prefer remakes (good quality ones, remade graphics and sound, level design if needed, etc) than any port.

Yeah, let's wait for a PSP version.
or better yet, put it on the GBA like I originally said. I'd prefer a metroid game without loading times.

I want Actraiser I+II, presented as one seamless game, with a LOT more depth to the gameplay of Actraiser 2. And with Yuzo Koshiro on hand to rework the music.

ANYTHING SO THAT QUINTET MAY LIVE AGAIN

I loved the Splatterhouse sequels. They were GREAT beat 'em ups.

Next: Blazing Lazers. If I ever get a TG16, this is the game to get with it.

"Another World" (AKA "Out of This World") remake please OK thankyou

That's funny, I just started playing that again the other day on SNES. I think I also had it on PC with some Interplay bundle CD that came with my computer, but haven't seen it for a while...I did some browsing and found out there was sequel was exclusive to SEGA CD :|

I really want to play the sequel...

the only remake's I buy are for games that I never had the chance to play the origina. This gen I was probably one of the very few people who actually enjoyed MGS: TTS, but that was because I had never played the original before. nearly everone else hates the game The game deserved some more credit because it had the excellent gameplay from MGS2, but I guess poeple were diappointed because of the lack of VR missions and the lack of new things that could have been added apart from the improved gameplay

I cant say that there is as much enjoyment for people playing a remake of a game that they played a few years ago unless the remake is drastically improved in regards to gameplay, graphics, music and additional stuff such as new missions or characters.

Remakes stink but at least ya don't feel boned for not buying them.

Enhanced ports/re-releases on the other hand.... -_-;

how are any of those bad?

Remakes - As shown in this thread, remakes can be excellent games, even sometimes changing/upgrading so much they feel like entirely new experiences

Enhanced ports - While these are often of the "wait for the PS2 port which will have extra features hahaha FUCK YOU NINTENDO WE'RE CAPCOM AND WE CAN BE ASSHOLES IF WE WANT" variety, but then there's stuff like the Final Fantasy I+II ports - milking, but beautiful milking.

Re-releases- Nothin' wrong with that

Remakes rock, if done right. Romancing Saga, for example, is awesome. Though I've never played the original so I can't compare, but it's obviously quite enhanced.
