Not bad for a drug that has a production cost (not R&D) of only us$ 10.00 for a 10 days treatment...

why the difference?

I believe they are sold at higher costs in developed countries so they can be distributed for cheaper in poorer countries in order to break even (profit) , but im sure it's somewhat more complicated than that
