Well, mine finally shipped today? Was it that much of a delay for everyone else?

Because so many people have bought the LotR Extended Editions as they were released over the last three years, there wasn't really any justification for people to buy the boxset again just to have a nice slipcase for all three movies, so they offered the slipcase for $3 shipping. You don't need to have any proofs of purchase or anything, but I can't remember the site offhand.

I got mine in the begining of January around the 10 - 15th time frame got the shipping notice the day before i got it
