Played black ops 6 on Xbox cloud streaming today and visually it still looks like call of duty from 2010, the trajectory for the franchise is to sell you as much dlc, and micro transactions as possible. The maps change, the campaigns are promising, usually good CGI cutscenes but I could see call of duty going extinct if it doesn't slow down this bullshit.

Activison is still listed as the "publisher" for the COD games as well as the blizzard games (I think).
During the purchase process I remember reading an article on the convergence between MSFT (Xbox Games Publishing) and ACTVI aimed for closer to 2028. ACTVI is publisher in name...MSFT is making all the calls.

Sounds like the free tier of the seasonal events mini battle pass will no longer exist and will require the battle pass to access. The premium tier will still be paid.
I am ok with this but I am not sure about locking content out when it comes to events, that seems kind of mean spirited and not sure what it really accomplishes.
