This really isn't the time to act above it. LordKano was acting very humbled while you seem to be acting the opposite. You have to understand that it makes you look worse. This whole situation doesnt look great in the first place. Not because it happened at all, but because your site has this horrific image of being perfectly clean and righteous that it's so hell bent on keeping. Even the implication of something like this cause members to start changing names and erasing images... It's not a good look.

This situation certainly doesn't look good because it shows what you can do with out of context screenshots and crafting a nice story for some people hating something enough. Has been shown enough both here, on era, and other places.
I'm not sure how you can era is "my site" when I was just a member there, got more posts here than on era, and incidentally more than 10 times more you have. What is "your site"?

Understand that most specific users don't have much to worry about honestly. In my case at least I have a problem with the staff and their insane methods and hypocrisy. All of which this situation perfectly showcases. A site like this or that one should never be in bed with the industry like it is. No site should really.

Lots of them bring a few people (compared to forums) together for the titled reason and it evolves into all kinds of discussion on various things.

Doesn’t make it less creepy or less hypocritical given Era’s banning of games that sexuality minors. Me either. But I’m also not Era staff (nor a member anymore). And that topic is an issue over there since 1) They ban discussion of games with sexualization of minors. 2) Forums have international members and age of consent varies across countries. E.g., sexualizing a 16 year old character isn’t as big a taboo in countries where that’s age of consent.

I think it’s gross and creepy personally. And think it’s very hypocritical given Era policies in the issue (if they disagree with them they shouldn’t be members or staff their). But it’s reasonable to me that the topic would come up in a Discord among Era members and staff and not indicative in and of itself of some pedo ring existing. And again, it’s not disproof either. Many are just wanting it to be as they understandably want to see that community burn.

It doesnt make any sense that, with all the other stuff they let slide, /v/ of all places is banning people for even attempting to discuss it? Something is up, coincidence or not.

The mods on /v/ are renowned for not giving a crap about the quality of the board until it starts involving drama with e-celebs or websites like Resetera. They'll let people spam the board with screencaps of literal who Twitter users sharing their inane opinions, but oh you want to talk about how Jared cheated on his wife? His first point, where he claimed that this Discord server has no affiliation with Era, yet, it had some of the most hotshots Mods of Era, it was regulated by Cerium as well, so how far more affiliated with Era it had to be? Still it is not clear enough for a lot of us.

Cerium has absolutely never been on this discord. OP contacted him because some of us were era members and she wanted us banned for it.

OP gave us screenshots, which as she said came from a quick word search, you have given us your word and some very conflicting messages.

The message is conflicting because the OP told a story that isn't true (her word vs the others).

I would have shrugged it off and let truth speak louder OR, I would also track down those conversations and then give proper context which is missing, and which is really required to push this.
Trying to delete them on the fringe hope they would not be reuploaded elsewhere makes you look guilty in the eyes of many.

As I've said in my first post in this thread, I expected them to be reuploaded. I hoped that it'd slow down the discussion (it did the reverse effect and I've already acknowledged I've fucked up there).
Context missing was already shown by Luigiblood for example (the MGS dub which the OP tried to make it look like it was about legal age). For the rest, again, it's linked to the thread linked in the OP. Check it and why we've said that.

I haven't been in KiwiFarms aside from the 1570+ pages of the Vic Mignogna false sexual harrasment, if you got any relevant info from them, please share it. But you know, 4chan is not dismissing it as you proclaim.

As said in a previous post, 4chan has tons of various opinions (especially since the worst elements went to 8chan). Kiwifarms is just the topic watching both gaf and era, and they don't care much about this. Not linking since I don't think it's a good idea, but the topic is easy to find on google.

Post #270 and you claim you are really careful to not go to sensitive threads or OT threads and yet you got banned from there? Also you are claiming that you like the community there and you sorta dislike the community here, yet it is there you have to walk on eggshells and wear mitts to approach any topic and not here....really informative.

Again, I got banned from era due to the OP's story. Other bans were due to disagreements with the moderation. Easy to check.
If you've been on gaf before the exodus, you know that it was the same and that some topics were better to be avoided. You can't really say there's a really active community for video games here nowadays, nor for video game sales, no offense intended.
