yeah I guess it's better to move around, but I am always worried about the "boss" enemies. Machinegun dude, mr claw and Super duper mega chainsaw man. When I spot them I want to sit in a corner with sniper or K7 or else It's big chance I get trounched.

Grrr I got 58K with leon in dock now, and chainsaw man just got me :lol

Shoot chainsaw man in the legs. Sometimes you'll cause him to fall completely to the ground. Then shoot him in the head as he's on the ground.


And you can just avoid the claw guys if you're only trying for 60k.

The claw guys are the worst, that goddamn spot on their back is tricky especially when there's a dozen enemies heading toward you and you cannot run nor shoot if you want to get on his back, 2 of them were chasing me once, it sucked

Mercenaries is really tough, krauser is an easy ride, just gather as much enemies as you can, use arm transformation and they're all dead, even the boss enemies. The one im having the most trouble is wesker, and leon :\

I've probably now spent more time playing Mercenaries than I have the main game.

My high score is 119,XXX (I don't remember the last digits), with Wesker in the Castle stage. Wesker has two strong weapons, which are well stocked in the Castle stage. I'm having trouble using him in the Village because all I'm getting is ammo for his worthless handgun and the chainsaw ladies take several shots to kill with the magnum or rifle.

I've gotten pretty good using Hunk. Just get the baddies to bottleneck or cluster and they're easy plucking.

My tactic for the Claw guys is to use a incendiary (Preferred) or frag grenade on them, as it tends to blow apart any monks around him and the Claw man himself tends to do a 180 and go on his knees for a bit allowing you to shoot him to pieces. It was quite a bitch with Hunk if I remember correctly.

Krauser is pretty cool, but once you get used to Wesker with his magnum and sniper rifle it is really hard to go back to the bow and arrow. His arm however just kicks ass.

I have trouble with leon in the castle. I just got 50K with him, but the bonus chests are in pretty bad places in this one. Any strategys?

How do i know who i beat which stage with? I'm trying to beat them all to unlock the hand cannon

a) run up to first area kill as many monsters; pick up time.. kill til they sort of run out... run up right stairs to collect items in barrel + pick up time. The claw guys should show up.... (normally I run away from this area before he appears) I try to cap as many creatures as I can with his handgun so I accumulate shotgun shells

b) Run up left stairs and blast monks along the way. collect grenade+stuff in barrell

c) Pick up time + 1st bonus power up. be aggressive and run out and shotgun everyone - keep moving; back forward.. so the arrows don't hit you. Run up to the second power up area - i sometimes shoot guys in the legs so they bowl over so I run past them. NOthing like a cheesed off monk

d) pick up 2nd bonus. Here you should be able to rack up a good score - hope the shotgun ammo holds up. Be wary of the guys in the shield. (Up to this point; dependent on play... you might not have to deal with clawguy)

e) once the bonus is done. pick off some kills; only when time is almost out; run to next time component and move to final chamber - kill all monks and try to string combo

f) FINAL bonus. Pick that shotgun shells in the corner before opening the bonus (Bonus also activates claw guy so...) immediately go and attack the monks and blast as many as quickly as you can. Heal and and shoot and run down to the 2nd bonus area. You should get about 60000 this way. Wait for time to run out and the claw guy won't follow you down here.
