Seems there's a trend of things lookin rough on s2 before release. I'm sure it'll be stable 30 at launch and look cleaner with DLSS. RE Engine is so good and scalable.

Ah well, guess that PS4 release rumors are also true.
Kind of disappointed, was hoping this would be a true current-gen only game.

Guess I'm the one eating crow now as I doubted RE9 was coming.
This is clearly using an older version of the RE engine. Still making Star Wars Outlaws the best port the Switch 2 has for now.

Guess I'm eating crow twice, that barely looks different. Lighting and hair is pretty much the only things. And we saw with Star Wars Outlaws, the pixelated hair can be fixed.

Obviously is worst on Switch 2, but tbh we are not even close to the difference we had in third parties games with Switch 1 porting.

It's REAL bad, according to that video, Nintendo Switch 2 version is 30fps too. So not only are the graphics completely different, there's 30 frames missing. That's huge.

PC version has a higher resolution and is clearly using either path or ray tracing. As said before about the hair, it's a fixable issue.

Lighting and hair seem to be the biggest difference, general texture quality between the two is surprisingly close.

Looks great, but I'll get this one on PC. I want to focus on the highest possible graphical fidelity.
But it's really cool to see the ports coming to Switch 2. I'm hoping for other Capcom games like DMC5. I'd get that one on Switch 2.

They are porting the older games. RE7 and Village are releasing on Switch 2 the same day as Requiem.
No word on the remakes yet, but they seem inevitable now.
