I wasn't even going to post this, but since you brought it up.

totally more importantly the beta patch fixes the record treasure UI so it's actually for a PC game by shifting it to the side like this:

Hi guys. Just to confirm, the 4th and final episode of Raid Mode is out, but we'll have to wait until March 31st to play online coop?
Okay, so something I want to point out about this shot, two things actually.
01.) That looks like the beach from Revelations 1, the one where you fight the glob monsters.
02.) I first thought this had to be Raid Mode, but there's one of Moira's crowbar boxes to the left there, so this has to be something for the campaign.
There's some strings in the game referring to this:
"Invasion of the Huge Creatures"
"Invasion of the Huge Creatures 2"
I wonder if it could be related to re.net? Capcom said they'd start having Revelations 2 ingame events starting April.
when will we be able to play Raid mode online? Have they given a date?
I assume that's just a normal ironhead with a really high scale. Didn't someone also say there's stages in the game which are currently unused? I don't know if that stage is one of them. I guess it would be more likely for this to be DLC. Capcom rarely releases new content for free. But like... what? How would that even work in events? There's no such thing as "huge creature" at least not like in the picture and that pic is clearly from an in game shot. With another stage that's not in the game.
Hopefully there's more DLC coming. I'd welcome anything at this point to give us more replay value. Specially another mode or stages or harder difficulty or ghost ship type of stages.
Invasion of the Huge Creatures
Invasion of the Huge Creatures 2
Level-Restricted Challenge (Solo)
Level-Restricted Challenge (Co-Op)
Weekend Survivor (Singles)
Weekend Survivor (Doubles)
Monthly Event:
Weekly Event:
3-Day Event:
Large creatures are stomping over the horizon! Unload all your ammo to stop them in their tracks!
The enemies in this event have unbelievably high levels of health.
Work together with players globally to take them down in the allotted time
Events may be subject to early termination.
Take them on at the lowest level possible!
This Gauntlet is composed of many missions. How many can you take on?
The event will end if your health runs out, or after an hour.
You can only participate once a day.
The more missions you clear, the better rewards

Where do I download.
Was thinking about renting this for the PS4 this weekend, but just wanted to know first: will I miss much of the story if I don't play Revelations 1 first?
Very little. The game's story has more connections to other RE games than Revelations 1.
RE5 merc maps plsSo heads-up, Capcom most certainly does have post-game plans for this game. Outside of the picture of the giant enemy, in the game's files, there's six stages that don't appear in the main game (a convenient number for a Gauntlet), none of which include the Revelations 1 beach interestingly enough, and hints there may be future Raid Mode map packs.

I found some more strings which seems to list modes, events, or challenges:
Code:Invasion of the Huge Creatures Invasion of the Huge Creatures 2 Level-Restricted Challenge (Solo) Level-Restricted Challenge (Co-Op) Weekend Survivor (Singles) Weekend Survivor (Doubles)
Edit: Okay, now I'm definitely sure it's an event for raid mode after finding these strings:

The large creature thing is sounding like it will work a similar way as the Ur-Dragon in Dragon's Dogma.
Katana for Moira and Bubblegun for Natalia. Both are *awesome*. Katana just mows things down on any difficulty and the Bubblegun puts a big, translucent bubble around enemies completely stunlocking them (but does no damage on its own) making them just sit there for Barry to unload on them.
being totally honest, while i think jessica is fucking terrible i actually really enjoyed the cast of rev1
specifically, parker and the keith/quint duo
i guess i've just got really low standards
Finally got the pale rider

I've only seen this once in the store so far over 50 levels
This is one of my favorite scenes in the series. It's hilarious but also bone-chilling. Neo Alex is menacing.
She got about 10x more facetime than, say, Andrew Ryan in BioShock, another all-time great (and yes, I know Ryan wasn't the final boss). So all things considered, I think it worked out well. One of my all time favorite villains, despite the atrocious facetime.
So I had to cull my friends list on Steam down below 100 before Raid mode stopped crashing. Good job Capcom.
Patch Version 2.2 Now Available
Hi everyone,
A new patch has been rolled out earlier this morning with the following changes.
Patch Notes
Fixed a crash / infinite "Uploading..." state when starting or ending Raid Mode
Fixed a infinite "Uploading..." state when viewing friends leaderboard in Raid Mode
Fixed unresponsive keyboard during the final boss fight in EP4Barry segment.
Optimized UI in Raid Mode when you pick up items from the treasure chest. The item pick-up UI overlay is now moved over to the right and fades into view and goes away much quicker. Similar tweak has been made on the Raid Mode mission results screen.
Do you know if you can use that bubble gun in Invisible Mode? Because oh son, if you can...
So I just finished the game and I think it said I got the worst possible ending...? wtf, why...? I defeated the Boss and all, what makes the game decide the ending you get exactly...?
Overall pretty awesome game but kinda bummed by Episode 4 a bit...
EDIT: Just saw a few posts above mine, thanks.
You need to go back and get the good ending, most of the reviewers got the bad ending and were disappointed in it as well and it really hurt the games overall review score.
The good ending is one one of the best climaxes in all of RE history franchise, it's super satisfying.
I'll watch it on Youtube, not starting that fight over, like I said in the other thread,I could probably miss what to do at the end of the Boss fight again...so dumb to put an entire playthrough of a games ending on a stupid, badly done QTE...
It's not just a cutscene. There's an extra boss fight, with multiple characters, in a new setting, plus the new cutscenes, and a post-credits epilogue.I'll watch it on Youtube, not starting that fight over, like I said in the other thread,I could probably miss what to do at the end of the Boss fight again...so dumb to put an entire playthrough of a games ending on a stupid, badly done QTE...
Jill killed by twink Piers?
Dat cartwheel would break his pretty neck off.
You know that move Jill does where she jumps on an enemy with her kneecaps, and uses her kneecaps to backflip off them.
Call me crazy, but I suspect that's not humanly possible!
Eh, it's bad, but it's not Valkyrie Profile/Final Fantasy X-2 bad.

In the Episode 3 boss fight, just switch to Moira (like the game tells you) and crawl forward when the boss has Claire pinned.
