My download is almost finished I downloaded for two reasons. A) Haven't seen a RE speedrun and more importantly B) It's one file. I was so sick and tired of seeing speedruns broken up into about 40 different files, this is a relief.

yes, but the thing is you lose time having to go into your inventory screen. So it may balance out which ever way you do it :\

Going through your inventory exhausts time. The only time the meter ain't running is when you actually have the game paused.
