yeah I read everything and got all but 1 upgrade, so maybe you left it unpaused,

Yea, the RE3 Remake is an awesome game but it definitely lacked a lot of elements. Way too streamlined and the Nemesis encounters aren't anywhere near as good as the original game. The thought of Nemesis as a Mr X type stalker seemed so cool, weird that Capcom made the encounters the way they did. I'm not upset over it because I can always just go and play the OG game but considering how good Remake 2 is, Nemesis deserved the same treatment.

Dimitrescu and her three daughters all harken back to what you might expect from vampire lore. We're not saying that's what they are, but there's certainly something that feels supernatural about what's going on.

Unless the Mia at Ethan's home is not the real Mia... if that is true then I can believe Chris didn't kill Rose.

They basically point out the obvious. Good on them, but I like the voice of Capcom to be heard louder than the influencer. I say that because I got into Capcom games since the early 90's and it wasn't from someone preaching to me about it. Is it bad that the whole "before you preorder thing" rubs me the wrong way? I preordered before watching another person talk about it because the trailer showed enough and it's Capcom we are talking about. I get it, it's a hype video, but good Lord you'd think they wrote the damn thing.

I found the demo pretty underwhelming, tbh. PS4 graphics and walking sim gameplay. Hopefully Village is better.

does not look like PS4 graphic to me, and it runs above 30fps (and i played re7), some lets play channel, the first thing they praise is the visuals the moment they step in the demo. And the lighting effect is amazing as well.

I dunno, is RE8 really that hyped? I feel like it's still a relatively niche audience even though it's big as shit. Weird dynamic. Maybe I'm just talking out of my ass.

Gameplay wise I'm expecting it to be solid. I just hope the story is engaging, as much as I love RE, Capcom can't seem to get a handle on the plot in modern RE titles, shit is all over the place. (Not counting RE2/3 remake)

The park and cemetery are also a big miss in the game, one my favorite moment in RE3 was in cemetery when zombies comes from undergrounds, that's quite shocking they cut a moment like that in the game.

Imo the Demo is actually the best part of the game and the most "respectful to the original and feels like RE3" part of the entire game.

The worst part is the first 30 minutes "hold stick up/ qte" city. I love the fact that you start in Jill's home tho.

Yeah. I watched it. I was really hoping to wait, but I wanted to see what they showed. Just a bit paranoid. Awesome looking enemies. I do wonder how annoying those enemies who are jumping, climbing, and running are going to be. Be prepared for CQC. That demo should be up soon.

The 4k trailer looks waaaay better. You can actually see a bunch of differences from the one below. Better textures, and even different moment to moment animations. Everything also looks smoother. I think that other trailer is made with last gen whereas this one is the XSX and PS5 or PC.

Yes the GI footage seems in line with the PS4 Pro IGN footage.
I don't think it's next gen stuff.
