It looks like the Mercenaries will feature a bit more strategy with trips to the Merchant between rounds.

One thing I'm still not seeing is gore, I do enjoy the big splatty head explosions of previous Resi games it makes the gunplay feel a lot more visceral.

That gunplay and slow ass enemies. No gore, only blood splotches where bullets land. I think this looks really bad.

Mercenaries just isnt a good fit for first person to begin with since you cant really do the things that made the RE3 or RE4/5/6 versions so fun. They would have been better off doing something like leech hunter or a totally new mode.

Even if I really love first person choice in RE a lot, not playing mercenaries in third person is...meh
