It's not that, some console fanboys are just retarded and think that their 700$ consoles are better than 1000$+ PCs. You can see every PC thread with someone like that.

PC is objectivity superior in most aspects (not all of them).

Anyway, consoles and PCs are great in different ways and have different pros and cons, pretending otherwise is just claptrap so we shouldn't do this.

They're still less hassle than PCs.
Consoles - less hassle, easier, less powerful, cheaper to buy.
PCs - more hassle, more powerful, more expensive to buy but games are cheaper.

That's it, there's nothing to fight over.

That will likely not change until games are made with path tracing in mind from the ground up. These are all bolt-ons, likely funded by Nvidia. This will take another generation to catch up.

Watched most of the footage.

I think the biggest standout to me is the visual imbalance it creates. You have high quality lighting but low quality models/textures on certain things like drawer handles and I think that looks worse than just having a balance visual experience.

And if it's not achievable at a decent FPS it's all for naught in my eyes. FPS over everything.
