Resident Evil: Zero worth it?

I still got to play Resident Evil: Remake, Zero & 4

I started with remake a year ago but stopped at the end of disk 1, before I'm starting RE 4 I'd like to finish Resident Evil Remake.. though, what about Zero? is it worth it? or just more of the same?

(I never played RE 1,2,3, Code Veronica back in PSX/Dreamcast days)

I know RE: Remake is much better than 0, I just want to know in words if it's worth the time playing re0? (I don't have much time, I still have to beat paper mario 2, mgs3, re 4, re: remake, xenogears xD etc)

The REmake is awesome...RE Zero is good...And Resident Evil 4 is amazing. Bar none. It's quite honestly my favorite action game this generation on any console.

It's all a question of how deep you are in your Resident Evil mood. I know when I was in my Resident Evil mood, Resident Evil Ø satisfied me plenty! But if you're eagier to play different games (especially if you haven't finished Metal Gear Solid 3 IMO), skip this one...

Storywise, Resident Evil Ø doesn't answer half of the question that were raised from the previous installments (like they promised).

I didn't like Zero very much. If you had the time, I would say try it for yourself. Since you have things to do, skip it. The only cool thing about it, IMO, is that it has one of the scariest RE enemies. Other than that, it wasn't good enough for me to even reach the 2nd disc.

Zero is pretty much more of the same to REmake. So if you don't like REmake at all then just forget Zero. But if you like REmake even quite a bit, then Zero is at least worth $20. Zero is a good game, but not as good and too similiar to REmake.

Some of the new things in Zero = able to drop items on the floor, but no item box anymore. And control two characters simultaneously by swapping. Some new enemies and weapons. That's about it.

Able to drop items on the floor is good but no item box is annoying, cuz you always have to go back to the same place to pick your things up, with no magically transferred item box. And the two characters feature is ok but not great. It's good to have a partner to fight alongside you and the AI for the partner is not bad. But personally I prefer to work alone so I prefer REmake more. Some new enemies and bosses are cool though. But the story and character development in Zero is pretty bland, unlike REmake. But still great graphics and music and exciting RE gameplay. Also there's no Type C control in Zero. There's Type A and B control only. Hmm that's about my short impression on it.

So if you're not sick of REmake then give Zero a try. Especially you can find it at below $20 now.

i love RE Zero.

it takes a little getting used to, but once you do it is a lot of fun.

Leech Hunter is also a great mini game.

All the RE games on Gamecube are worth it.

Problem is are you worth it?

Threads like this make me get RE crazy and want to get REmake, REØ, RE:O, and RE4. But I must not, for the same of gaming variety I must limit myself to RE4.

Hated by everybody, I found myself enjoying that game a lot. The storyline is pretty cool and the characters are the pretty good :)
You'll never find anybody more badass than Billy Cohen. Basically Billy Cohen should appear on the next Final Fight. He deserves to be there more than in a RE game :)

Remake is better but I enjoyed RE0 a lot. IMHO better than Code Veronica :)
