Rev may be delayed? Yamauchi going blind?

Nintendo held the shareholders' meeting on June 29. 179 stockholders who were 20 people more gathered in the headquarters in the last , of shareholders' meeting Kyoto City of director counselor Hiroshi Yamauchi who had been involved in the management of Nintendo during half a century last year.

Mr. Yamauchi cannot be attended because it came in succession, and, to our regret, : to the voice of the stockholder "It is not possible to meet Mr./Ms. Yamauchi and it is regrettable" by president Iwata on the day of the operation on the cataract. 「We wish to express our gratitude for current support. It will have relations in Nintendo as a counselor in the future. There might be a chance to meet you as a stockholder, too. 」Applause seems to have happened because of the assembly hall when the comment was read for a person.

Mr. Iwata : to the question of delaying Revolution. 「It might be before and behind somewhat though the sale time is not terribly delayed. What kind of software in what order does only have to come out for the long term at each stage, and it prepares it firmly. 」It seems to have answered.

Three as elected of the director retirement special service bonus by abolition and the director bills were voted on in the shareholders' meeting. Mr. Asada, chairman became a retirement with Mr. Yamauchi, too.

Oh oh!!!

Tangential, but someone going blind made me think of not being able to play games, that made me think that I question if Yamauchi ever played these things anyway. He never mentioned games he liked to play to my knowledge.

It wouldn't shock me one bit.

I think he was upfront about the fact that he did not play games.

That is what I was looking for. I never read that but it makes sense.

the only game he plays is GO
Again it doesn't surprise me. He probably thought of business as some sort of continuous Go game anyway.

How can a console without a release date be delayed?

:lol Bingo.

Considering they didn't have any tech demos, a controller prototype, or ANY hint about what the 'revolution' is (other than the 'revolutionary' idea of being able to download older Nintendo games) @ E3, this leads me to further believe that not even Nintendo knows what the fuck the Revolution is suppose to be....

...but hey, you will be able to play games you bought and played 15 years ago! +1 billion sales!

I think it was asked if Revolution would be delayed, and from what I can make of it, Iwata simply said it might come a little earlier or a little later than expected, but not by much. So..nothing really there.

Ok. Nintendo never said that. It's just a nice extra to the Revolution. Ok. Got that? Good.

So, simply because they keep everything under wraps it leads you to believe that not even Nintendo knows what the Revolution is supposed to be? I don't agree at all.

Naturally you don't, because you have Iwata's wife's underpants tucked in your left pocket.

It's ok... I know the feeling.

Call this number:

You can get help from Princess Peach and the Mushroom Kids!

That cateract surgery does wonders. My step mom had it done not too long ago and within 24 hours of not being able to drive, she was seeing better than ever before. I don't think Yamauchi is going to go blind.

The feeling of having Iwata's wife's underpants tucked in your left pocket?

Anyway, you basically said that because Nintendo didn't show anything at E3 of the Rev, they don't know what it should be themselves. I think that's retarded, especially since Nintendo is renowned for keeping things under wraps at the last moment. Now quit your damn trolling before I shove those Iwata's wife's underpants up your ass.

I want to have optical surgery... but isn't it like $5000 per eye?

I don't think my insurance would cover that. :(

Insurance doesn't cover it until it's totally necessary and even some plans don't, I think. I would check with yours to see what their options are. If your eye is really bad, you might be in luck.

I've had cataract, you only go blind from it if you dont do anything about it. Its one of the most common surgeries performed so there is next to no risks (if you remember to take your eye drops and so on and don’t rub your eye in the first 14 days.)

Yamauchi will be fine.

The master.
It is dangerous.
It is very very dangerous.
The wariness is... under harmon's name.

Yamauchi finally left the board of directors of Nintendo in June 2005 due to his age and because he feels that he is leaving the company in good hands. He refused to accept his retirement pension, which was reported to be around $9 million to $14 million, feeling that Nintendo could put it to better use.

:)

HDTV fans rejoice! Thank's to Yamauchi's noble sacrifice Nintendo now has the money to add HD support to Revolution! :lol
