Revolution 'takes the cake'

At my job, I get a lot of papers from all over the place, and I'm checking out all the E3 articles. Nearly every single one I'm reading seems to be more positive against Nintendo than Sony and especially Microsoft. One article says that Revolution 'takes the cake' out of the all next-gen consoles because of the design, the virtual console features and the small form factor. Another article said that Nintendo's press briefing was the least boring because it didn't focus on specs and there was a hands-on approach with the games. Another article in a paper dedicated nearly half a page to Revolution and Game Boy Micro with positive analysis.

So us gamers seem to be disappointed with Nintendo's showing, yet mainstream press is seeing it in a different light. Just thought I'd share this.

So let me get this straight: A pro-Nintendo guy allegedly reading articles from unnamed sources thinks that Nintendo's public perception is far better than GAF, decides to start a thread about it, and we're supposed to do WHAT?

Oh yeah, well I just read a bunch of papers that said MS is "cream of the crop" especially compared to Sony and really especially compared to Nintendo.

I think that the idea of all the Nintendo games from the past being on one console will definitely bring a sense of nostalgia to the hordes of casual gamers out there, and that will cause a lot of positive coverage from the press.

But the fact is Nintendo should have shown more than they did.

That's kinda what I was thinking...

The only thing I can do is quote your response and agree. I have no idea what else to say...

:lol

Scratch heads?

Sorry Gods Hand, since you renounced Nintendo you no longer have permission to make shitty speculative threads based on anecdotal reports.
