Iwata has been giving weak and empty hype to Nintendo's next console. I reckon it will be the ultimate symbol of what is wrong with Nintendo.
Is there really a need for Revolution? Is coming up with a non standard console a good idea? Especially when they cant even make a decent standard one? Is their crusade against mature games the right thing? Forcing kiddy games on their console good? Is this clear arrogancy worth it? Idea of a new franchise actually just an old franchise? Unable to follow normal conventions such as demo disks, hyping up a game, decent design etc?
The answers are obvious but they represent what is wrong with Nintendo. Nintendo are akin to SEGA in the end of their Megadrive years releasing the 32x, cd add on and about to release the Saturn. They are going down. There is no sign of that changing.
