Anyone ever play this game? Looks like a cross between Magic: The Gathering and Risk. Was thinking about picking it up, but for $40 i'd rather wait and see what you guys think of it.

I don't know how much Magic: The Gathering is in Godstorm... It's fairly similar to Risk 2210, but with a mythology theme. It has some interesting aspects to it, like Atlantis and the fact that it sometimes sinks in-game. If you've not played 2210, 2210 basically fixes all of the problems that regular Risk has, and Godstorm is pretty much just a re-theme with a few tweaks, so if you like the theme and are interested in a better version of regular Risk, I'd go for Godstorm.

both 2210 and Godstorm are awesome. If you like Risk, buy them. As said, it has absolutely nothing to do with MtG, so don't go in expecting that. You do however have 'miracles' that can have game effects, and there's nothing quite like atlantis sinking with a bunch of opposing soldiers on it.

Very much worth the cash, and I believe that brick and mortar TRUs are carrying both 2210 and Godstorm now.
